After meeting with the people,he went to tend to his wife's needs. He went to find Ciran asleep and it seemed she was tired from giving birth to the twins. She was sleeping so peacefully that Eryn didn't want to bother her.
Even though he knew she was loosing a great opportunity to reach the discìple stage,he still hesitated. Thinking more about the issue he decided to wake her up.
In fact for the last two years her cultivation has been stagnant. She even suffered when breaking through to the emperor stage. She lost a lot of blood and suffered so much pain that everyone thought she would die. It was even a shock when she came out of the pregnancy unharmed. He vowed not to let her suffer more pain. Even though he was happy for the birth of Jace and Jason,he was still suffering inside.
"I'll wake her up and I think it would be for the better. She has struggled enough." He thought as he finally decided to wake her up.
He started shaking her body with the aim of waking her up but to no avail. He then decided to say her name a couple times but after trying it and ending up in failure he even thought of stopping. He then thought about the pain she felt when breaking through last time. He shook his head and began thinking of a way to wake her up.
"Ciran the twins are in danger!" He yelled waking her up immediately. " Where are they Eryn,where are they." She screamed at the shock of loosing her children. She immediately became restless after hearing the words of Eryn. Rubbing her hair wildly.
Eryn thought of that,every mother loves and cares about her children. The meer thought of loosing them would cause them to make a ruckus. Meaning,if she heard that her children are in trouble she would be so worried that it would wake her from her slumber.
"Finally I got you to wake up." He said whilst smiling at her.
"Where are the kids." She questioned Eryn about the whereabouts of her children. She still didn't know that Eryn was just trying to wake her up and her children are as fit as fiddle.
"About that,I lied in other to wake you up." He revealed.
"How could you play with my feelings like that? I was soo worried and you were just playing. You know I hate those antics of yours and you keep on doing it you, you..."
"I'm very sorry that I hurt you. I just wanted to wake you up for you up for you to cultivate." He pleaded. Ciran looked at him and could see the good intentions behind his acts.
"I'm very sorry for drawing false conclusions. I should have listened to you and not draw my conclusion." She begged for Eryn's forgiveness. Eryn immediately felt at fault for this. He didn't know his harmless idea would cause ruckus between them.
"No need to say sorry. We are at fault here but it's better to forgive and forget ." He reassured her that they should forget about the issue. They then sat down crossed legged and started cultivating.
In another part of the palace,two kids,Lucas and Amy,were roaming around the palace. They were looking around for a specific room. They were searching around and it seemed they have finally found their destination.
A smile blossomed on their faces as they found the room. The palace is a very big place so finding a room is very difficult. The thing that made it even difficult for them is that they have never been sent to call someone because their family still thinks their kids. Their family aren't wrong because the palace is about the size of the intire city. It would be a city if not they used it to build the palace.
The palace has over 100 rooms and has special places like a meeting room,a garden,a treasure room,a pill room and many others. The main reason their family never wanted them to search for anyone is because the palace is too big for them to search in and can get lost anytime anywhere. This doesn't mean they don't know the location of their rooms. They do know theirs and their parents but do not know the others.
Lucas and Amy knocked on the door with no response. They continued knocking until they heard a loud irritated voice from coming from the room. They got frightened and held each other closely. They were shivering with fear then the gate was opened revealing a young figure. He was a thirteen years of age telling from his structure and appearance.
He had brown eyes with black hair. He was wearing a white shirt with white trousers. He had fair skin and looked like he was irritated. Even with his irritated face a lady would fall head over heels with him in one glance. From his soft and tender pink lips to his dazzling brown eyes he was truly handsome.
"Oh it's you two. What are two doing knocking on my door like that and how did you how did you two find my room." He said puzzled since he didn't know the way they found his room. He was actually irritated by them knocking on his door as if they did not know they were making noise.
"Can't you speak." He asked since they didn't reply to his question. The children looked scared and bothered. It seemed they were seeing a terrifying figure infront of them.He read their expressions on their faces and could tell they horrified. He knew he had to find out the reason why they were scared.
Just then a voice could be heard from the room saying"Who was it." The voice questioned.
"It was two kids,a boy and a girl. The boy looks older than the girl. The boy seems to be five to six years and the girl is about three to four years old." He answered.
"Let them in. I want to see them for myself." He commanded to the boy standing infront. He nodded and ushered the two kids inside the room.
They entered the room to see a bigger space inside the room. It could not be called a room. It seemed to be a forest where different types of trees and animals could be seen. There was path in the forest and it lead to a a beautiful luxurious bed decorated with leaves,flowers and vines. The aura of life was exuding from the room. It seemed one would be brought back to life if dead and was brought to this room.
"Lucas,Amy,what are you doing here?" He questioned puzzled by the situation. The kids immediately noticed their brother,Terrence,who was meditating near the bed.
"Terrence,we came here to tell you that mom has given birth to the twins,Jace and Jason but were stopped by this man." Lucas replied to the question asked by Terrence.
"Wait,wait,wait,wait,mom has given birth to the twins." He asked.
"Yes,she gave birth to them tonight. " Lucas answered excited.
"When did that happen? Also why didn't they inform me?" He questioned.
"So did mom give birth to them on the unworldly night at the unworldly night festival?" He questioned himself. He taught about it carefully and decided to ask them.
"So at what time did mom give birth to the twins?" He asked Lucas and Amy.
"Tonight. " Amy answered.
"Not that,I mean the exact time and tell me what happened." He requested.
"Oh,now I get it. Mom gave birth to them at exactly 12:00 at midnight. After giving birth he took the twins to show them to the people of the city. They rejoiced and then dad asked the holy moon and celestial sun to bless them and they did..."
"Wait what!!!They did?" He asked because he was shocked.
The holy moon and celestial sun are mystic items that have the power to destroy and create anything it wanted. It doesn't give blessings to anyone. It gives blessings to the deserving and if it does,the person is going to do great unimaginable things. Those objects just blessed his twin brothers. What a shocking event. Even though he was blessed by the universe itself he still couldn't believe it.
Yes,he was blessed by the universe itself because the universe says he is the solution to the problem. And what the problem is,no one knows not even himself. He was even more shocked about the fact that he could not sense the life in them. He taught that maybe he was busy cultivating that it why he couldn't sense them.
"Yes they did." Lucas answered.
"And then dad declared the people come to celebrate the birth of Jace and Jason together with us. Yes they were boys and mom named them immediately after their birth and we will celebrate their birth this evening." Lucas continued.
After listening to everything they had to say Terrence taught about the situation carefully . He still could not believe that his newly born brothers were blessed by the holy moon and celestial sun. He taught about why it blessed them but he could not draw any conclusion so he decided to leave it be. Even though he was happy for them being blessed he was also puzzled at the same time.
Lucas and Amy left after informing Terrence so it was left with the hardest to talk with. Their sister,Cordyne.
They taught it would be hard to find her room as they searched for Terrence's room for about 30 minutes before finding it. But to their surprise,they found her room so quickly that it seemed they did not search at all.
A dark and eerie feeling was exuding from the room. The essence of blood could be sensed from the room. It seemed the room itself would kill them the moment they entered. They knocked the door and unlike last time,they only knocked thrice when the door itself opened. It seemed that the door was telling them to enter.
They entered the room to see a space even more bigger than Terrence's room. In this room one could tell that it looked more like hell then a room. Every crack in the room had lava coming out from it. Wait,it is not lava but instead blood. Blood was coming out of the cracked land and in the center was something that seemed to be an endless ocean of blood.
Floating above the ocean of blood was a girl who looked like eight years old. She had short yet straight crimson hair. She had her eyes closed but one would feel as if she was looking directly at you. She was exuding an eerie and dark aura. Even though she looked cute and adorable it seemed she was a witch who was hiding her face in other to trap it's prey.
As soon as they entered,she opened her eyes and asked "What are you doing here?" Without if looking at a glimpse of their faces. It seemed she knew that they were here and knew their identities.
"It is us,Lucas and Amy." Lucas replied with a smile and acted as if he had not just seen the creepy and bloody room of his sister.
"What do you want?" She asked indifferent.
"We are here to tell you that mom has given birth to the twins." Lucas again replied.
"Really...I know now leave." She retorted. She seemed frustrated by their presence. It was as if they had done something wrong.
"Wait,we are yet to tell you about something important. Something that you do not know." Lucas said.
"What do you have to say that I don't know?" Cordyne asked as she seemed to be surprised since she thought they were here only to tell her about the birth of Jace and Jason. Actually she sensed their blood immediately after their birth. She was blessed with the ability to control blood and everything about it. That is why her room is like that because every bedroom in the palace takes the ability of the owner of the room and use it to make an environment that suits the person. Terrence's room is so peaceful and has the aura of life emanating from the room due to his ability to control life and everything about it.
"There will be a celebration to rejoice about the birth of Jace and Jason. Dad announced it to the people of the city and it will happen tonight." Lucas answered.
"Really" she sound interested.
"And that's not all. The twins were blessed by the holy moon and celestial sun." Lucas continued as she looked interested.
"Wait what!!" She sound twice as surprised as Terrence when she heard that. And how can she not be surprised? Her twin brothers were blessed by the holy moon and celestial sun. This is not an event that happens naturally. Unlike Terrence she seemed more excited for them than puzzled. Instead of thinking about the reason why they were blessed by the holy moon and celestial sun she was so excited that it seemed she would burst with joy. Even though she looked cold and unforgiven in the outside,she was actually as bright and joyful like a kid.
Even though she seemed to be an adult,she was just eight years old and she can not just throw it away.
"I am so excited that they were blessed. Thanks for giving me that information. It would have been a burden if I did not here it. Thank you a bunch guys." She said her goodbyes and Lucas and Amy left her room.
In the morning,every seemed tired due to them cultivating the whole night. They knew they had to prepare for the celebration but not in a condition like this. Eryn dismissed all the workers to go and rest and they will prepare for the celebration in the afternoon. Everyoneincluding the family members also went to rest.
In the afternoon,two figures were walking down the stairs whilst discussing something.
"I feel like having a celebration is going overboard. What happens when the powerful forces in the land here about it? It could become a serious issue for us. Think about it." A old figure said concerned.
"It might become a serious issue but it can also work in our advantage you know," A middle aged man replied.
"And how can become advantageous for us?" The old man questioned.
The old was Maxwell,the oracle,and the middle-aged man was Eryn. They seemed to be having a serious discussion about something important. It seemed Maxwell challenged a decision of Eryn's and Eryn was trying to tell him that there is no problem about the decision.
"You see,if the powerful forces hear about this,they will become our friends and it will overshadow the thought of doing something to harm or destroy us." Eryn explained to Maxwell.
"And how can it do that?" Maxwell questioned.
"They already know four children have the ability to control life,blood,weather,and speed respectively. Two are already blessed and if they learn about this they will become our friends instead of enemies." Eryn explained to Maxwell as he didn't understand.
"Now I get it,they will know that we are formidable opponents and will form alliances with us and will stop every plan to cause as harm or destroy us. But there is just one problem. What about those who are determined to destroy us?" Maxwell asked.
"Let them plot as much as they want. They can't hurt as even if they tried. We are a formidable force. Empty threats can't harm us." Eryn said proudly with a hint of pride. He is the ruler of a powerful force. How can he not feel pride? To top it off, his own family and himself are not to be trifled with.
"Too much pride can cost a life." Maxwell whispered to himself.
"What did you say?" Eryn asked.
"Nothing important. Let's go,we have to get ready for the celebration." Maxwell responded and they left the hall. Eryn started ascending the stairs to go to his room whilst Maxwell flew out of the palace.
The celebration was being held in the Golden arena found at the south-east of the city. It is the biggest arena in the Golden Age World. It is a place were battles are done mainly to chose one's academy or to hold the annual Golden Age Academy Competition to prove which academy is the best.
The preparation of the celebration was being done by the high class organisers. The beautiful decorations were hanged everywhere in the arena. Lanterns and lights were everywhere in the arena. There were tables and chairs with one table surrounded with five chairs. The tables were covered with beautifully designed cloths along with the chairs.
There were special places for the royal family and the other families in the Celestial Hall Union. They would have invited the powerful forces in the world but it would cause chaos. The special places reserved for the royal family and the other families in the union had majestic,elegant and luxurious chairs,tables,decorations and others. One can tell that it is for the powerful forces by just looking at it. It doesn't mean the commoners seats were cheap and simple. No,they were simple yet elegant. They were very beautiful but did not overshadow the powerful forces seats.
The main reason why they didn't inform the other forces of the Golden Age World is because they had a meeting about the celebration after Eryn and Maxwell's talk.
It involved the elders of the family,Eryn,Ciran and some elders in the union. These elders in the union are the Tennarksh family's own. They are deeply concerned about the Tennarksh family and respect them a lot. They are also very wise and intelligent which makes them perfect for decision-making.
"I think we should not invite the other families in the union." An old man suggested.
"Why do you think so elder James?" Eryn questioned.
"If we inform them, they might become even more jealous than they already are." The old man called James explained.
"But we are a union. We united with the same goal. If we don't inform them,they might get angry and it might cause a war to arise. They might inform our enemies and combine with them with the
aim to destroy us." Another old man said. They all thought about what he said and understood everything.
The Qwarg family,the Yuzhik family and the Drat family are envious of what the Tennarksh family have. The Tennarksh family have not rare but legendary talent. Eryn's children have great abilities. Terrence can control life ,Cordyne can control blood ,Lucas can shape shift and Amy can control speed. These abilities are gained from the Heavenly Fluid.
The heavenly fluid is a mysterious liquid that grants abilities,skills and elements to a person. It is said that the fluid is the leftover item used when creating the universe. In creating the universe,legendary items were used. Their grade can not even be determined because their powers are limitless.
No one knows were they came from and how the universe was created but knowing the universe's power and strength,they know the items used are legendary. The heavenly fluid is the combination of all the items used in creating the universe. The leftover pieces of the items used in the creation of the universe.
The power of the heavenly fluid helps it to give skills,abilities and elements in any rank.
They found it when exploring an ancient ruin. They found it along with the Drat family,Qwarg family and Yuzhik family. It is the main reason why they formed the celestial hall union. So that they can share it without any misunderstanding.
The Tennarksh family have been receiving legendary abilities whilst the other families in the union are receiving rare abilities making them jealous about them.
"I think what elder Mark is saying is true. We are in a union and a union is like a family. I know that there are things we shouldn't share with them but this issue isn't one of them." An old man called Daniel backed up Mark's statement.
"Explain."Eryn said.
"You see there are yhings we don't share like family matters and other private stuff but this issue isn't one. We could share the birth of the twins to the people of the city and everyone could see how they were blessed but not our fellow people in the union. That is just nonsense. If we don't share it with them,one way or the other they will know. Cause even if we shut everyone's mouth,there is a person who will find a way to talk. They might get angry and think we don't trust them anymore. Even if we manage to resolve the issue their trust would have been triggered. So better let's inform them and see what happens. But make sure to tell them not to inform the outside forces." Daniel explained to the understanding of everyone. They all understood the consequences of not telling the families in the union. So they were prepared to tell them everything.
"But wait,why don't we inform the outside forces in the land?" Eryn questioned.
"The main reason is that we are not obligated to tell them anything. If we tell them or not they won't and can't do anything because it os our matter." Daniel again explained to Eryn.
Now they all understood what to do. They discussed about some petty things and they all left.
This discussion is the reason why they didn't inform the outside forces in the land. Soon everything was done and guest started arriving. The Tennarksh family was the first people to arrive because it's their party followed by the people of the city and soon arrived the Qwarg family,Yuzhik family and Drat family. They were the last to arrive.
At the celebration,everywhere was buzzing with noise. The performers were at the top of their game doing great,unimaginable performances. The chefs also did not rest. They made the best foods that suited the occasion. Everyone would come for more once they taste it. One could say is a meal from heaven. It's scrumptious aroma and delicious taste was everything the guest needed.
Eryn stood up from his chair holding a glass of wine and started hitting it gently with a spoon to catch everyone's attention.
"You all know why we are here. We are here to celebrate the birth of Jace and Jason,my beautiful twin boys." He paused to see their reaction and everyone was clapping and cheering with joy. He was so happy to see this scene that he almost shed tears but he maintained himself and didn't shed any tears.
"I am so glad for the coming of everyone. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for attending the ceremony. But as everybody knows,we still got a lot to do so we will start the rituals now. There are five rituals each witha significance. The first for protection,second for strength and power,third for wisdom and understanding,fourth for luck and the last but nut th e least,the fifth one for bravery and courage." He continued.
In this family when a child is born there rituals to be done for the child to be officially accepted. It is like a naming ceremony but a lot different.
Eryn picked a coconut and took a sword. He gestured for the twins to be put on the ground infront of him in a basket. Ciran then picked them up and brought them infront of Eryn. Eryn took three steps backwards,tgrew the coconut in the air and sliced it.
The water in it sprinkled on the babies and the rest of the coconut fell near them. It was two parts of the coconuts which Eryn sliced. One fell near Jace and the other fell near Jason.
"We do this ritual to so that every difficult problem they face,they shall overcome it. The coconut is a hard and strong fruit. It's very hard to break it but when one tries they can break it. The coconut is the hard situation and the sword slicing it is their way out. May no harm befall my children." He explained the significance of the ritual and moved on to the next.
