I stare at the boy. He was now panting, probably exhausted from using too much chakra with that fireball, and the shock on his face tells me he's never been in this position before.

"H...How?" He's actually stuttering.

I just look at him with indifference. "Was that all?"

"What?"

"You're weaker than I thought." I taunted with a smirk.

The mocking smirk does its job. His teeth grind together and the veins on his forehead start bulging as anger takes over again.

"I don't know what you did to come out unscathed, but you just got lucky," The dumbass copes, trying to sound tough even though his voice wavers. "This time I won't go easy on you."

I don't bother responding... Instead, I settle back into my Niko Style stance, much looser than before and relaxed.

"SHIMURA KANNA!" Katsuki's voice cuts through the tension, sweat visibly running down his face. "Are you able to continue the fight?"

Kanna just nods but he probably couldn't trust his voice anymore.

"Great! Now you can continue the fight!"

The moment the words leave Katsuki's mouth, Kanna charges at me with increased speed.

He's pushing himself past limits now.

*SWOOSH!*

No kunai this time, he must have dropped it somewhere during our earlier exchange.

He gets close and throws a punch aimed directly at my chest. I shift to the right just enough to get comfortable, and as his fist passes by–

Grab.

Redirection Kata: Weeping Willow!

[Picture]

My hand catches his fist and I guide it backward in a gentle circular motion.

The technique is simple but effective, by redirecting the flow of his power, I alter the trajectory of his attack completely. As I said, a less brutal and weaker version of Water Stream.

Water Stream is also gentle like this but the redirected attacks of Water Stream fucks people up since it's redirecting the attacker's own power with twice or more of the force.

"Huh?"

Kanna mutters in confusion right before he realizes the world has suddenly turned upside down.

The students gasp as they watch Kanna flip through the air above me, suspended for just a moment before gravity takes over. His back hits the ground with a satisfying thud, and his face twists into an uncomfortable expression from the impact.

------------

TsunadePOV/

"Reaaally, it isssss someee unique moves I havvvve never seeen. Bah-ha."

Uchiha Ryu flips his hair dramatically, striking what he probably thinks is a handsome pose. Despite his flamboyant personality, I know he's actually quite clever and incredibly strong. I've sparred with him dozens of times, and his genjutsu is dangerous if you're not careful.

"Are you copying his taijutsu style, Ryu?" I ask while glancing at his eyes hidden behind his hand. They're closed, but if you look closely enough, you can see the red of his Sharingan shining underneath.

"Hmmm~ Ohhh MYYY deaaar Tsunade." He places a hand over his eye dramatically. "I already copieeeed hisss taijutsu, but for sommme reeeason I knoooww that I can't use ittt without breakinnnng some bones. Theee bodddy muust be optimmmised accordingly which I dooon't knnow how ."

My eyes widen at his words and I immediately look back at the ring.

-----------

GarouPOV/

Kanna backflips to his feet and stands there for a moment, wearing the expression of someone who's trying to swat an annoying fly that just won't die.

*SWOOSH.*

He charges again, this time throwing a front kick aimed at my stomach. I dodge to the side easily, but he uses his planted leg to launch himself into a spinning 360-degree kick aimed at my chin, trying his best to reach me because of his smaller frame.

Adamantine Kata: Indestructible!

*PAW.*

His kick connects with my chin, but I don't move an inch. The technique works by hardening the body through flexing all my muscles at once, turning my skin and flesh into something approaching the hardness of iron. It also dramatically improves stamina, which is helpful right now.

Based on the look on Kanna's face, his foot is not having a good time.

But he doesn't stop and keeps throwing punches and kicks in rapid succession, a flurry of attacks rained down on me. I redirect some using the Redirection Kata, while others I simply let bounce off my hardened body. My body remains unscathed, no damage whatsoever.

Then he pulls out a kunai from nowhere. Blue chakra coats the blade, enhancing its cutting power.

Boriiing...

Well, I think this is enough.

He rushes at me with renewed energy, the kunai aimed directly at my head.

"TAKE THIS!!"

Adamantine Kata: Iron Fingers!

[Picture]

My hand moves faster than he could react. Two of my fingers extend and meet the kunai mid-strike.

*CLING.*

The sound of metal hitting metal echoes across the training ground.

I've caught his blade between my index and middle finger, my finger joints hardened to an incredible degree by flexing the muscles in a specific way. This technique was meant to strike at an opponent's vitals, but it works just as well for defense.

.

Katsuki's POV/

Katsuki was staring at the scene unfolding before him and didn't know how to feel anymore.

'Can muscles really do this?' Katsuki glanced down at his own skinny body and felt a wave of inadequacy wash over him.

Should he start working out too? Maybe put on some muscle?

Maybe his wife will also love it.

Probably need to ask Garou how he got them and write me a training plan.

.

Garou's POV/

I stand there with a wide grin on my face, holding Kanna's kunai trapped securely between my index and middle finger.

If he were a stronger or more experienced ninja, that chakra infusion might have posed a problem. But for someone like him? Even for the future Sannins at this stage? Easy.

"W...WHAT?!" Sweat pours down his face as he staggers backward, letting go of the kunai completely.

I examine the blade for a moment, thoroughly unimpressed.

Then I used the Adamantine Kata again, strengthening my palms, and press the kunai between them.

*KRCH KRCH!*

The metal crunches and bends like paper, slowly transforming into a scrap ball.

When I was done, I tossed it back to him gently. He catched it nervously, clearly confused about what just happened.

Then I appear in front of him instantly and grab him by the throat while he was distracted, lifting him off the ground.

His windpipe compresses under my grip.

"Aggghh... I... I forf–"

"You want more? Sure." I tighten my hand, cutting off his words completely.

My other hand grabs his shoulder, and I squeeze.

*CRUSH.*

"AGHHHHHHHHHHH! AGHHHHHHH!"

He thrashes wildly in my grip, screaming as his ball and socket bones disintegrate under the pressure. Making him walk with one hand for no one knows how long.

The sound is music to my ears.

"You know, I always hated ninjas." I watch him whimper and cry, completely broken. "But do you know what I hate more than a ninja?"

"I giv–"

*PAW. KRK. KRCH. KRR.*

My fist crashes into his mouth and destroys every single one of his teeth. Blood and saliva spray everywhere as he chokes on the fragments.

"AGMMM! AGMMM!!!" He moans in agony, swallowing some of his own broken teeth.

"Bullies." Anger flashes in my eyes. "You thought I was weak just because you found out I can't use chakra, right?"

I grab his hand and start crushing it, but he passes out before I can finish. The pain was too much for his weak constitution.

Pathetic.

I spit on his face.

I raise my arm to continue anyway, why stop now? But a hand grabs my wrist.

"You've done more than enough. You win."

The chunin teacher whose name I can't bother to remember. He's trying to intimidate me with his stare, which is honestly funny because if I went all out right now, I could beat the shit out of him without much trouble, and he knows this.

But I don't want to complicate things since I don't want to meet the monkey or the cyclops yet.

So I let go.

Kanna goes limp and Katsuki catches him before he hits the ground.

Right before he leaves, he gives me a look.

"You're in trouble, kiddo. We're going to meet the Hokage after I come back, so be ready."

He vanishes with Kanna, probably heading to the infirmary.

Ah, shit.

I rub my face, feeling tired and irritated. So much for not wanting to meet those hypocrites.

I start walking out of the ring, but I stop and turn around to face the students. They're all staring at me with horror and fear in their eyes.

All according to plan.

"That's your fate if you annoy me again, so please refrain from doing so." I keep my voice lazy and bored. "It's a waste of my time and I don't want to repeat myself because it's useless to say things twice."

I make my way through the crowd and they part quickly, nobody wanting to be anywhere near me.

When I reach Yuji, he was looking at me like everything that happened was exactly what he expected... kinda.

Did Yuji care? No.

He already figured Garou's personality out. Straightforward, no lies, no nonsense, and no deception, which was kinda refreshing for Yuji to see.

Yuji was a ninja, so he knew how much fake his surroundings can get.

"That was brutal." His voice carries that familiar tired quality.

"As they say, peace through fear." I shrug.

Yuji's eyebrow rise slightly.

.

I stand in my place for a few minutes waiting for the teacher to come back.

*SWOOSH.*

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Katsuki materializes right in the middle of the ring and starts yelling immediately.

"ATTENTION!! There will be another chunin teacher supervising your spars, so behave until I come back." His eyes lock onto me. "Garou, come with me."

He starts walking toward me, probably planning to use the Body Flicker technique to get us wherever we're going.

"Hey, Garou!"

I turn around and see Yuji walking toward me with something in his hand.

"You forgot your slippers." He holds out my tai chi slippers.

"I totally forgot about those." I grab them and slip them on, wiggling my toes a bit to get comfortable.

"When I come back, I need to tell you and Satoshi something." I give him a look that says it's important.

He just nods at me with that same tired expression, and then I feel a hand clamp down on my shoulder.

*SWOOSH.*

----------

At the Hokage Office/

Behind a desk drowning in papers sat the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. He had sleek black hair and eyes. A goatee that probably took way too much effort to maintain, and hands that were tough from years of training.

*SWOOSH.*

A ninja with a bird mask suddenly appeared in front of the desk and dropped to one knee.

"Hokage-sama!"

Hiruzen didn't even look up from his papers. "You can talk."

"Something happened at the academy training grounds." The bird-mask guy paused, and Hiruzen nodded for him to continue. "The new student, the heir of the Hatake clan, he sparred with the cousin of Elder Danzo and seriously injured him."

And that got Hiruzen's attention. He finally looked up with eyebrows raising slightly but also tiredly.

"Sighhhhhh, like father like son. Always bring trouble to me." Hiruzen muttered as he thought about how yesterday Gintoki came to him so he could put that kid in class A.

He threatened to crash at his place every day if he didn't.

Hiruzen did actually put that kid in class Z because he thought he was a trouble maker and must not badly influence the excellent students of the better classes.

It seems he was right.

And surely, it wasn't because the kid has no chakra, yes.

"If I remember correctly, isn't the Hatake boy unable to use chakra because of some rare disease? How could he possibly beat that boy?" There was genuine curiosity in his voice now, like a scientist who just found an interesting specimen.

"Yes, Hokage-sama, but the Hatake seemed to use some unknown techniques to come out victorious."

*SWOOSH.*

Another ninja, this one with a tiger mask, appeared right next to the first guy and dropped to his knees just as fast.

"Hokage-sama!"

"You can talk."

"The chunin teacher from the academy, Katsuki, is on his way here with his student, Hatake Garou."

Hiruzen nodded slowly and puffed on his pipe. "Hmm. Okay, you two can go back to your duties. I'll handle this personally."

The ANBU nodded and vanished as quickly as they'd appeared.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.*

"Hokage-sama! Chunin Rank Katsuki Mazaka is here to report!" The voice came from behind the door, loud and formal.

"You can come in."

And Hiruzen was greeted by a shirtless wall of muscle a second later.

'Damm.'

----------

GarouPOV/

I'm standing next to Katsuki, bored out of my mind, waiting for permission to enter like this is some kind of VIP club or something.

"You can come in."

We walk inside, and I take a good look at the guy behind the desk. Young dude, maybe 31 or so, smoking a pipe like he's in some old detective movie with papers everywhere.

The place is a mess.

"HOKAGE-SAMA!" Katsuki drops to his knees and shouts like he's announcing the arrival of a god.

I just stand there with the same bored look I always have. Staring at Hiruzen like he's just some random guy on the street.

"Garou! show some respect to Hokage-sama!" Katsuki's face is turning red, veins popping, but there was also a glint of fear hidden behind his anger as he stared at me.

I look at the chunin teacher, whose name I've already forgotten again "But... why?"

"Is that even a question?! He's the HOKAGE of this village!" Katsuki looks like he's about to have a heart attack as he side glanced at Hiruzen with sweat running down his back.

"Mhhmmm... and I'm Hatake Garou, the heir of the Hatake clan. What's up?" I replied with a hand in my ear, not giving a single fuck whatsoever.

"Enough! Kneel to the Hokage RIGHT NOW!" Katsuki stands up and puts his hand on my shoulder while covering his hand with as much chakra as he could, trying to physically force me down.

Honestly, Katsuki was scared as fuck of this fucker. Kanna's sorry ass image was still fresh in his mind, but he had to maintain some face in front of the Hokage. He knows he will regret this because that's how it always goes with him when he gives a fuck about anything... he will instantly get entangled with trouble.

Grab.

I catch Katsuki's hand before he can apply any real pressure which he couldn't force me to do anything honestly even if he tried.

Adamantine Kata: Iron Fingers.

[Picture]

The muscles around my fingers tighten and I squeeze hard.

*KRK.*

"AGHHH!" His bones start cracking under my grip. He winces but doesn't stop, instead, chakra starts coating his arm as he tries to push through the pain and force me down anyway.

"ENOUGH!!"

Hiruzen's voice thundered through the room and his chakra exploded outward like a bomb going off. Cracks spread across the walls, the floor, the ceiling, and everything started breaking apart.

"Aghh!" ×6

All the ANBU who were hiding in the shadows grunted as they couldn't control their own chakra like usual. Katsuki was already on the floor, sweating and shaking.

I let go of his hand a while ago and just stood there.

Grinning like a moron who just found the best toy in the world.

My battle instincts went absolutely haywire. The world slowed down as I watched that wild ocean of chakra flowing around the room.

It didn't affect me one bit though.

I slowly crouched down, ready to fuck him up with Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist! I haven't forgotten yesterday's humiliation!

.

.

.

.

.

But a second later, I forced myself to calm down.

The adrenaline slowly wore off as my heart stopped trying to punch its way out of my chest.

Hiruzen was looking at me with a weird mix of interest and confusion. I was the only one still standing. Even the ANBU fell on the floor at some point, Katsuki was on the floor, but I was just... standing there grinning.

To be fair, I've been stared down by Saitama. Hiruzen's little pressure show? Cute. Not even close to how terrifying that bald guy is when he looks at you seriously.

I glanced at the chunin teacher who was still on the floor, sweating and fear all over his face.

Loser.

Then Hiruzen draws back his chakra and coughs a little.

The ANBU were picking up papers with shaky hands, trying to act like they weren't just humiliated.

Cracks everywhere and the room was messed up and needed repair later.

"Is there a reason you don't want to do what Katsuki told to, Garou?" Hiruzen's voice was kind now and friendly. Like he wasn't just crushing everyone with his chakra two seconds ago.

"Is it a mandatory thing that everyone has to do?" I asked back with a slightly displeased face.

He puffed his pipe. "Not at all. But it's an unspoken rule for ninjas to show respect to their leaders and Kages."

"I am not a ninja, and I don't plan on becoming one. If not for my mother, I wouldn't be unfortunate to be here." I said and put my hands in my pockets as I stared down at this disgusting man.

"Even so, it's necessary to learn these basic things that every ninja knows. After all, you are in a ninja village."

"Guess my answer." I said to him.

He looked genuinely tired now. "Care to explain."

"Look, I don't want to be bound by anything, not the village, not your orders. I'm not really into that whole slave-master relationship dynamic. I love my freedom too much. I wanna do whatever I want, whenever I want, and there is not a single fuck you can do about it. So, if you still want support from my clan or better say... father, then don't fuck with me. We clear?" I said nonchalantly, not caring how my words will be received.

Basically, treason.

The ANBU in the room got noticeably annoyed. I could feel their anger radiating off them and ready to dice me up with their little toys looking tough shit. They were tense and reasy to attack. They just needed a wave of Hiruzen's hand to do so.

Hiruzen's eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't comment further. Instead, he looked at Katsuki, who had finally managed to get up, shake his hand to disperse the pain, and was staring at me with pure dissatisfaction and a hint of relief that I let him go without any serious stuff done to him.

"So tell me why you're here, Katsuki." Hiruzen tried to ignore what Garou said even though internally, he was screaming to get up and hand his big ass to him, but a picture of Gintoki with a hand on his nose and laying in his office held him back.

Too much at stake.

He was already annoyed by Danzo barging in like he owned the place.

A dumb, rude, and rebellious kid who doesn't understand politics or anything and says whatever on his mind? Easy to ignore.

So yeah, no thank you.

The chunin straightened up immediately. "Yes, Hokage-sama! Something happened at the training grounds. This man–cough cough, I mean... this 'kid' here seriously injured a student named Shimura Kanna. The injuries are so severe that the doctors said he might not be able to continue for a long time until he recovers. There's still a small chance he could recover fast, but it's not looking good."

'Should have crushed his balls too. One less young master getting kids.' I thought boredly.

"Hmm." Hiruzen turned to me with narrowed eyes, trying to intimidate me. "What do you have to say about this matter, little Garou?"

Is he trying to come back from the humiliation by calling me little when my hand alone was as large as his head?

Cute.

"Kid was as fragile as glass." I shrug.

"Take this seriously!" Katsuki shouted.

"I am being serious. The little punk came up to me, tried to humiliate me in front of the whole class, so I beat the crap out of him. Simple as that." I raised an eyebrow at him and his lips twitched in annoyance.

"Is that true, Katsuki?" Hiruzen asked.

"I don't know what happened in the class, Hokage-sama. I was... busy." Katsuki shook his head awkwardly and Hiruzen nodded.

"Well, anyways, I heard you used some unique techniques to fight him. Is that true, little Garou?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm, so you can't use chakra at all?" He rubbed his goatee thoughtfully.

"No."

"That's unfortunate." He didn't sound that sorry, honestly. "Anyway, would you like to contribute to the village and share your techniques? In exchange, you can choose any jutsu you want from the Scroll of Seals, depending on how strong your techniques are."

There it was.

The greedy glint in his eyes.

"No."

"Think about it, the scroll of sea–"

"Nah."

"But–"

"Double it and give it to the next person."

"Sighhhhhhh."

He nodded as he let out a long sigh, looking disappointed but not surprised. Probably expected that answer.

"Okay then. For now, your punishment is a one-week suspension from the academy. You're dismissed."

"You don't say?" I turned around without wasting a single second and walked out, not bothering to bid farewell.

Ninjas are murderers, and Hiruzen is the head of the snake. No need to show the slightest bit of respect.

Even if Hashirama himself was here, he wouldn't give a single fuck.

Not a single ninja deserves your respect.

Spit on their face.

Katsuki bowed first, of course, and followed me out.

The End.
