Qiu Tu didn't mind, and he stopped texting as well. Instead, he got up and strolled around the guest room, found a book, and started reading quietly.
Immersed in the sea of books, time ticked by minute by minute.
Just like that, over an hour passed, and suddenly, there were some rustling sounds outside his door.
Qiu Tu snapped back to attention, scanned with his psychic sense, and saw Ai Li, dressed in a lace nightgown, sneaking up to his door all shady-like.
She was clearly feeling a bit guilty, so she kept glancing left, glancing right. Only after making sure no one saw her did she finally sneak into Qiu Tu's room.
Seeing Ai Li come in, Qiu Tu, who was sitting at the desk, turned to look at her, then grinned and asked, "All done?"
Ai Li, currently in full sneaky mode, quickly shut the door behind her, then leaned against it, heart pounding away.
