Upon hearing Elder Miao's question, the secretary quickly bowed in response, "Elder Miao, it was the Secretariat that notified us. They said the meeting would be held at 1 p.m. this afternoon."
Elder Miao nodded thoughtfully and then said, "Understood. You may go."
The secretary bowed again, then quickly walked out of the courtyard.
As the secretary's figure gradually disappeared at the courtyard gate, the two elders exchanged another glance.
