Chapter 802 - Chapter 812: Prelude

The long-awaited day finally arrived for Benjamin to meet with the Prime Minister of South Korea.

Two days earlier, Gianna and John had escorted the First Lady and her son out of the White House under the pretense of a parent-child exchange activity. They were settled at a secluded mountain resort in Virginia. Accompanying them were Secret Service agents assigned to protect the First Lady, along with John Wick, a former top-tier assassin. Once the First Lady and her son were safely relocated, John decided to "educate" the Secret Service agents on what real security entailed.

No matter how the agents adjusted their security protocols, John, once known as the "Night Demon," effortlessly bypassed their protective measures without a trace. His actions shocked the security team, leaving them and even the First Lady deeply alarmed.

Were it not for her trust in Gianna and the knowledge that John was her husband, the First Lady might have suspected ulterior motives from the woman who had financially supported her husband's presidential campaign.

However, the real bombshell came when Gianna explained the true reason for their abrupt relocation.

It turned out that in two days, a group of armed militants—backed by domestic opposition to Benjamin—planned to attack the White House. The attack would coincide with the South Korean Prime Minister's visit, relying on accomplices embedded within the Prime Minister's delegation, a Secret Service mole, and traitors in the military to execute their plot. Their goal was to assassinate Benjamin and wreak havoc on the White House.

The First Lady quickly realized that her husband's relocation plan, orchestrated with Gianna, was a deliberate trap to lure out the conspirators. The timing of her removal from the White House was proof enough. It was clear that Benjamin wanted to protect his wife and son from becoming collateral damage in the imminent attack.

Reassured that her husband was prepared, the First Lady set aside her worries. Gianna's calm demeanor, coupled with John's confidence in confronting the Secret Service agents, indicated their readiness for any challenge.

What the First Lady didn't know was that John's actions weren't just for show. Castle had specifically asked John to prepare the agents to ensure the First Lady and her son wouldn't fall into enemy hands if the White House attack was thwarted but another group targeted them.

Castle's concerns weren't baseless. Information obtained by Jarvis from members of the Roxette organization revealed plans to use the First Lady and her son as leverage against Benjamin. Although Gianna had moved them to a secure location, Castle wanted to ensure there were no surprises.

Meanwhile, back in Washington, Pennsylvania Avenue was filled with police motorcycles as the South Korean Prime Minister's delegation made its way to the White House. Steve, Bob, and Booth—an ex-soldier turned FBI agent—were briefed by Moz. Their mission was to assist Benjamin in eliminating internal threats, including a mole within the Secret Service, before handling the external attackers.

Inside the Oval Office, Benjamin and Moz finalized preparations with a trio of seasoned military operatives from the Army, Navy, and Marines. They would play crucial roles in stopping the militants. The plan involved Steve apprehending the Secret Service mole at the exact moment the Prime Minister's motorcade entered the White House, ensuring a clean internal sweep.

Bob was stationed at an optimal sniper position on the White House rooftop, ready to neutralize incoming threats, including suicide truck bombers intended to block entry routes. Under Benjamin's direct orders, Bob had full authorization to eliminate any perceived threats—a rare level of autonomy granted by a U.S. president.

At Andrews Air Force Base, Castle monitored a modified AC-130 gunship sponsored by rogue factions. This heavily armed aircraft was designed to inflict massive casualties, creating chaos for ground forces defending the White House. Castle had his private drone ready to intercept and neutralize the aircraft if it approached the no-fly zone.

Castle's familiarity with such scenarios, influenced by films like Olympus Has Fallen, heightened his resolve to prevent the gunship from reaching its target. He was also prepared to push for a military takeover of Andrews Air Force Base if the commanding officer failed to act swiftly.

As the South Korean Prime Minister's motorcade neared the White House, tension filled the air. Everyone was acutely aware of the impending battle—a critical moment in the fight against those who dared to threaten the U.S. presidency.

Benjamin, determined to send a clear message, wasn't content with just repelling the attack. This was a rare opportunity to expose and eliminate both domestic and foreign conspirators. With full authorization granted to his operatives, Benjamin was confident in his ability to handle the fallout, even if Congress or the Justice Department raised objections.

As the motorcade drew closer, the stage was set for a high-stakes showdown.
