Song Jiaying watched the car leave in a huff, her gums clenched tightly, then turned her head and saw Huo Zheng looking at her. She collected herself and said, "Sorry for making you laugh!"
Huo Zheng shook his head and said, "Today, I finally saw a lively and human side of Song Jiaying."
Song Jiaying was taken aback. "What do you mean?"
Huo Zheng smiled, gestured for her to go first, then walked alongside her and said, "The old you only cared about medical matters and never anything else—like an iceberg, with an aura of 'stay away.' Who didn't say you were an ice queen!"
"You're making fun of me. If I'm like that, then what about you?" Song Jiaying chuckled.
"That's because I'm also a fellow Easterner," Huo Zheng said. "I took advantage of our shared identity, plus a bit of persistence, and finally won a smile from the beauty!"
Song Jiaying found it even funnier. "Senior Huo, still as charming as ever!"
