Breaking into the guest room, leading the way was a young officer wearing a helmet plume and armor. As soon as he burst in, a shimmering Green Sword was held horizontally in front of his neck, almost separating his head from his body. Terrified, he halted his steps and retreated a step back, causing his helmet to tilt a little.
His hand rubbed his neck, a wave of lingering fear sweeping over him. Luckily, it was still there.
"Presumptuous!" The sword-wielding woman was full of cold arrogance, her eyes glaring sharply at the young officer.
"You are the presumptuous ones. Who are you people, and what do you intend to do?" The young officer steadied himself and looked around the room.
In the room, a man sat upright in front of the bed, a maidservant stood at the back of the bed, just putting down half of the curtain. On the bed, another person lay, their gender indiscernible.
"Ah Jiu, what's going on?"
