"How could this happen, meow?" Meowth's voice cracked with panic as he witnessed the scene unfolding before them. The malfunction of their carefully crafted weapon seemed impossible to comprehend.

"Damn it, let me handle this!" James shouted, his hands already moving to take control of the machine himself. The mechanical Meowth responded to his commands, raising both arms high before spreading its palms wide.

The metallic claws gleamed menacingly under the light, their edges sharp and cold. As Haxorus charged forward, the mechanical arms shot out simultaneously, attempting to grab the Dragon-type Pokemon.

BOOM!

The sound of impact echoed across the battlefield. Haxorus raised its powerful claws and caught the mechanical arms mid-strike, stopping them dead in their tracks. A crimson glow flashed in the Dragon Pokemon's eyes, burning with an intensity that spoke of raw power.

ROAR!

The deafening cry shook the air around them. Haxorus flexed both arms with tremendous force, and a vibrant green energy erupted from its scarlet claws. The energy materialized into razor-sharp talons that pierced straight through the mechanical Meowth's metal palms.

With both hands gripping firmly, Haxorus applied even more pressure. The mechanical arms began to creak and groan under the strain, sparks flying from the joints as the metal buckled. Then, with one violent pull, Haxorus tore the robotic arms completely off the body.

"What?!" The three Team Rocket members inside the mechanical Meowth stared in shock, their faces frozen in disbelief.

"Those arms were designed to Crush even solid Rock... I can't believe this..." James muttered, his voice barely above a whisper as he watched their creation fall apart.

Haxorus casually shook its hands, flinging the severed mechanical arms aside like worthless scrap. Without missing a beat, the Dragon Pokemon charged forward again, its claws glowing with draconic energy as it swung Dragon Claw in a devastating arc.

Metal screeched against Dragon Claw as the mechanical Meowth's legs were sliced clean through. The massive robot lost its balance instantly, crashing down onto the ground with a thunderous impact.

In mere moments, the supposedly indestructible alloy robot had been reduced to scattered pieces by Haxorus's overwhelming strength.

ROAR!

Haxorus bellowed triumphantly, opening its jaws wide as the roar continued. Blue energy began gathering in its mouth, swirling and condensing as the Dragon Pokemon fixed its gaze on the fallen robot before it.

BOOM!

A beam of brilliant blue light erupted from Haxorus's mouth, transforming into a raging azure dragon that shot directly toward Team Rocket's position. Inside the destroyed robot, Jessie, James, and Meowth clung to each other, their eyes wide with terror.

BOOM!

The Dragon Rage attack struck the broken robot head-on. The blue energy flooded into the machine through the gaps Haxorus had created, filling every crevice. Flames burst forth as the robot's internal systems overloaded, and then the entire contraption exploded under the tremendous power of Dragon Rage.

"This can't be happening! Boss, we're so sorry!" Jessie wailed as the explosion consumed them.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" All three voices cried out in unison as the blast sent them flying high into the sky, their bodies becoming a twinkling star against the heavens.

The robot exploded into a massive fireball, but at least the immediate danger had finally passed.

Haxorus stood before the raging flames, its dark body silhouetted dramatically against the orange glow. Behind it, the other Pokemon were beginning to get back on their feet.

Butterfree, Squirtle, and the others hadn't quite registered what was happening. Seeing Haxorus defeat their opponent, they instinctively started moving closer to congratulate their teammate.

"Wait! Don't get any closer!" Ash called out urgently, his eyes locked on the red glow that still surrounded Haxorus's body, refusing to fade.

But it was already too late. Haxorus had turned its head, those eyes still blazing with that eerie red light. The moment it faced them, another roar erupted from its throat, and it unleashed Dragon Rage once more.

The blue beam of energy shot toward the Pokemon standing behind it. Squirtle and the others barely had time to react, though some of them were beginning to realize that something was seriously wrong with Haxorus's current condition.

Charizard reacted fastest, diving down from the air to position itself between Haxorus and the other Pokemon. As Haxorus's attack approached, Charizard responded with its own Dragon Rage.

BOOM! CRASH!

The blue light collided head-on with Charizard's orange Energy Ball. Two Dragon Rage attacks of different forms met in midair, creating a spectacular explosion that shook the entire area.

The shockwave spread outward in all directions. The Pokemon instinctively braced themselves against the powerful wind, then quickly retreated to take cover behind Charizard.

Charizard and Haxorus now stood facing each other directly. Feeling the raw power emanating from its opponent, Charizard felt its battle instincts stirring, eager to test its strength. However, Charizard also recognized that something was wrong with Haxorus's current state. It understood that its teammates didn't want to hurt their friend.

Unfortunately, Haxorus saw things very differently. In its current condition, everything around it registered as an enemy that needed to be destroyed. Before the smoke from the explosion had even cleared, Haxorus charged forward.

Green energy flared to life around its right claw as it raised Dragon Claw and rushed straight at Charizard.

Charizard had no intention of standing there and taking the hit. It raised its own hand and clenched it into a fist. Golden lightning crackled around its knuckles as it prepared Thunder Punch. Both Pokemon rushed toward each other with determination.

BOOM!

Thunder Punch and Dragon Claw collided with explosive force. Enhanced by the Outrage state, Haxorus's power had effectively doubled. Already incredibly strong to begin with, and now boosted further by its recent evolution, the Dragon-type was an absolute powerhouse.

The moment their attacks connected, Charizard felt the full weight of Haxorus's strength pushing against it.

After a brief struggle where neither side could gain the advantage, both Pokemon were simultaneously thrown backward by the force of the impact.

"This is terrible! Ash, what should we do?" Misty asked, her voice filled with concern as she looked to their friend for guidance.

She knew this wasn't what Haxorus truly wanted. But if this battle continued, both Pokemon would end up seriously injured.

As their trainer, Ash certainly didn't want any of his Pokemon to get hurt. But right now, his priority had to be calming Haxorus down.

He tried to reach out with his own power, his eyes beginning to glow with the same red light that surrounded Haxorus. Ash attempted to use his ability to soothe the raging Dragon-type and bring it back to its senses.

BOOM!

"Ugh!" But the moment his power tried to approach, Ash felt himself slammed back by an intensely hot and fierce energy. He looked toward Haxorus with new understanding.

It was like trying to touch a burning fireball—wrapped in that red aura, completely unreachable and untouchable.

ROAR!

Haxorus seemed to sense some kind of force attempting to reach it. The Dragon Pokemon's head snapped toward Ash's direction. Instinctively treating Ash as another enemy, Haxorus charged directly at its own trainer.

"Ash, watch out!" Misty screamed.

ROAR!

Charizard growled loudly and prepared to intercept, ready to protect Ash at any cost. But Ash suddenly shouted.

"Stay back! Leave this to me!" Ash held up his hand as Haxorus closed the distance, calling out to all his Pokemon with absolute conviction.

In the anime, Bruno had tamed an out-of-control Onix without using any Pokemon at all. Haxorus was Ash's own Pokemon, his partner. As its trainer, he had to believe he could calm its rage on his own.
