Synopsis
Li Wei, a humble modern-day farmer known for his extraordinary patience and knack for optimizing soil and crops, dies in an accident involving a runaway tractor. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself in the body of a frail young man in an ancient-Chinese-like world. The world resembles a classic wuxia land of sects, clans, spirit beasts, and mystical cultivation—except something horrific is happening: zombies.
A mysterious “Corpse Qi Plague” is spreading across the land, corrupting bodies and devouring souls. Cities fall. Sects crumble. Entire provinces are lost. And worst of all, the plague affects spiritual beasts and even cultivators.
Li Wei, without martial talent, discovers something strange:
His Heaven-defying aptitude lies not in martial cultivation—but plant cultivation.
His spiritual root aligns with “Wood of Ten Thousand Life,” a legendary affinity long thought extinct.
