The young man beside the old man shoved away the crying viscount, without any disregard!
"Wh-what?! Y- you damned swordsman! How dare you push me! You'll be executed! Executed!"
It was clear that by now the Viscount was going on a hysteria.
The young man looked at him and smiled lightly.
"Well... Why don't you try..."
"Wh-what?! You dare-!"
"SHUT UP!"

Before the viscount could utter his threats again, the Duke beside them finally shouted in anger.
He had been watching the Viscount in anger since he dared to cry in front of the Old Man, and now he dared to threaten this person?!
"How dare you threaten the crown prince, Viscount Hiiro!"

The words of the Duke made the already pale Viscount to turn even whiter.
*Thud!
Then he straight up fainted and dropped into the ground.
"Men! Capture this man! And investigate this whole situation, NOW!"

A whole unit of swordsmen promptly acted after the Duke said his orders as their footsteps crasing against the ground.
"As for you guys..."
"W-wait!"
Before the Duke could say anything to Eiji and the others an Old voice sounded out.
"Yes sir!?"
The Duke turned to look at the old man.
"Let me speak with them..."
"Understood!"
Stepping aside, the young man still smiling, helped the old man walk towards Eiji and the others.

Eiji and the others hurriedly half - kneeled on the ground as the Crown Prince of the kingdom arrived in front of them.
"Haha! No need for such formalities, I'm just a fellow swordsman for now, although, you guys might wanna address the Royal Tutor now!"

Finally, Eiji and the others knew who this old man was!
And it finally made sense as to why the Duke respects him, and even had the Crown Prince Hongo Yukimori, as his attendant and helper!
This was the Royal Tutor Hijikata Toshizo!
Back at School, apart from important people such as kings and Sages, as well as commanders and exceptional swordsmen, one of their topics was the man named Hijikata Toshizo!
He was a son of a gardener of some noble.
He didn't have any talent for the sword, but wanting to improve the way of living of him and his father, he decided to become a scholar.
He studied very hard.
And his father supported him through out his studies.
And so, he graduated with the highest scores within the scholars program of the kingdom.
But he could only be ranked below the hundreds for the sole reason of being a commoner and had the hundred above him all nobles!
But it didn't deter him in the slightest, he worked even harder as he was assigned within the archives of the kingdom.
He studied and found loop holes of laws, found missing evidences of crimes and even spotted the smallest mistake of an architectural design of one of the projects of a noble.
But because of this, he was met with criticism from the people that he had inevitably offended.
Although it wasn't explicitly told, one could assume that they made his life very very hard.
But a certain event made a turn of his life!
But this was a turn for the worse!
He was assigned to be one of the scholars to help along with the then Crown Prince and Now king of the Kingdom, to an important negotiations with an opposing kingdom!
In the lectures, it was said that on the way back after a successful negotiations, they were ambushed and nearly all of them were killed!
And although not even an Elite level swordsman, he helped the injured and fainted Crown prince to safety.
He then swapped the clothing of the both of them, hid the fainted crown prince and ran away!
He was then captured and turtored for three whole days! He suffered unimaginable pain and almost died a few times before the Crown Prince along with the 4th King Of the Kingdom arrived and helped him!
And for this bravery, boldness, loyalty and for saving tha crown Prince's life, he was given the tile of 'Royal Tutor'. He was to teach and educate the next in line of the throne, until he no longer wants to!
And when the then Crown Prince became the King, he gave him even more political and economic power within the kingdom!
This inevitably made him one of the people that had the highest authority aside from the king himself within the kingdom!
To Eiji and the others, this man was a living legend!
A different type of reverie from the Coffin Carrying Old Man.
That Old Man was a swordsman who fought all his life and was full of legends, but no one knows what his purpose was or what hidden history he has!
But the Royal Tutor was different!
In school, they were taught about him and was told to follow his examples and character!
This was a man that embodied loyalty itself!
He was impartial when it comes to crimes he come across, noble or not, he will punsih you accordingly!
He was kind, he had been passing laws and offered jobs towards the commoners more specifically!
So Eiji, Newark, Marco and Akai looked at the old man in front of them with respect and awe!
"I have come across a lot of people all my life.."
The Royal Tutor talked slowly towards them.
"And I have never been wrong wih my judgement!"
He looked at them and especially Eiji and Newark, and then smiled.
"You have been trying your best for your friend! Do not worry... I will ensure that this will be investigated carefully and those that are meant to be punished, shall be punished without fail!"

Eiji bit his lower lip and as he bowed in gratitude.
Even when he had beaten up and killed the people of the Viscount, even when he had killed the son of the Viscount, whom was the reason this all started, deep within him, Eiji felt nothing.
He knew that regardless of what, confirming that Renji was dead, along with Ryuko, her mother Rena and father Koda, doesn't bring them back to life!
And with the Royal Tutor's assurance, Eiji could only sigh in sadness and hopes that the viscount will be punished accordingly!!
