Chapter 121 - Ch. 121 Seperated!

"Maeda!!! What the hell did you do!!!"

Miura shouted angrily at his elder brother.

"What do you mean?!"

Meade just casually asked him back despite the noticable anger in Miura's voice.

"What do I mean?! What happened to father?! And why would he pass the title to someone as incompetent as you?!"

"HAHAHAHA!!!!"

Maeda did not answer Miura's question, he just laughed in hysteria.

"Aahh!! That was funny! Father?! I killed him!"

"Wha-t?!"

But before Miura could finish, Maeda cut him off his words.

"Incompetent?! No! No! No! You see, I know for a fact that I am very talented, even more than you in everything you do and know!"

"Huh?!"

Miura looked flabbergasted. Questioning the sanity of Maeda.

But considering what was currently happening, he should be crazy! Very crazy!

"Hmm.. You don't believe it?! Well, it's not surprising, at an early age, I was able to read and write, and could even perfectly recite peoms and anecdotes from the books and scrolls from the library, but our dear father told my teacher back then to give me false information and then dragged me in front of other nobles for questions!

And in an unsurprising manner, I answered all wrong! And yet I was blamed for being an idiot?!

And even with the sword, I felt ki when I was just trying the first time, I could even imitate and improve sword skills that I've seen once!

But what did that bastard of a father do?!

Everytime I practiced, he ordered the swordsmen to beat me up as an excuse for teaching!

He would deliberately find me if I practiced on my own and was tasked to do something ridiculous, like for example, the one you laughed me the most at, riding a pig and ran around the mansion, shouting hehaw!

And if I didn't?! Endless and ruthless whippings!

And if I did what he wanted I would still be whipped because I brought shame to the family! Hahahah!"

"!!!"

Miura frowned his eyebrows.

He had seen and heard what ridiculous stunts his brother had been doing since his childhood.

But he hasn't heard about his intelligence and talent of the sword.

'It seems that father deliberately kept it hidden.'

But Miura didn't think that it was that bad.

For him, his elder brother was a bastard child, and as the real blood child of his father, he should be the only one to inherit the title of the Count!

Although he thought so, he didn't know that there were people with different reactions than him.

His teammates at the back frowned at his brother words.

Lime especially felt Maeda's words the most.

All her life, she had been bullied by her brother, was sneered at by the people in her clan and was even given a cold shoulder from her father.

Though not as bad as Maeda's harsh treatment, she still felt a bit of connection in his situation.

"Hmmp! For all I know, you're just lying to make yourself look better, when you clearly conspired with outsiders and took the title for yourself!

You even waged a war with the Count of Murata, you should know that what you have done is being watched by the kingdom! And the king will take action!"

"Hehe! As long as I eliminate you, I alone will be a testimony that father favored me as the successor, and for the war?! I've already planned for that!

There are currently 132 children at the foot of the first mountain of the Hundred Mountains Area, these children will now be killed tonight as a proof that the County of Murata are engaging in kidnapping, forced slavery and killing these children!

AHAHAHAH!"

Maeda laughed manically as he told them his plans.

"What?!"

"!??"

"Bu-but!?"

"Wh- why would you even tell us that!"

Lime and everyone was stunned at Maeda's words.

This was the first time they encountered heinous acts of nobility, laid bare in front od their eyes.

But Captain Haruta found it puzzling and asked why he would tell them his plans.

"We'll it's simple!"

He didn't say anything but just looked straight at Lime.

But they all understood. Or maybe misunderstood?

Lime was the daughter of the Duke of Zenith clan.

If anything were to happen to her, he would face the wrath of a rampaging Zenith Grandmaster Swordsman!

That wasn't something he was willing to do!

Is what all of them thought so!

"Lime! Get Omar and Alvin, go and save the children!"

Captain Haruta ordered.

"But!"

Lime wanted to object, but she thought of what would happen to the children and nodded reluctantly.

Omar and Alvin, also nodded their heads.

"Don't worry vice captain and captain! We'll save the children!"

Omar and Alvin had been two of the three veteran members of the their team.

And both of them were at the peak of Master level swordsman.

They still weren't able to breakthrough after so many years, but their fighting capabilities weren't anything to scoff at!

And Captain Haruta knew that, that's why he had the two of them help Lime, and if anything were to happen they should be enough to handle it!

"Alright! Go!!"

""Yessir!!!""

The three of them answered Captain Haruta and then proceeded to rush northwest from the city!

It was the general direction of where the first of the hundred mountains were.

"And now that's out of the way, I'll be killing you now!"

Maeda who just watched all along, smiled and finally talked.

"Go! Kill all of them! But let me fight my brother!"

""Yessir!!!""

There were three Master level swordsman behind Maeda.

And ten at the Elite level!

Miura and Haruta frowned.

They both knew that even if Lime, Omar and Alvin were here, they would still be at disadvantage, and it was even more now!

"Captain, please be careful, I haven't seen these Master level swordsmen before!

They should be people he had recruit during this time!"

"Alright!"

*Sigh!

Captain Haruta sighed, he had been hoping that these Master level swordsmen were people that Mmiura knew, and that would mean they'd held back most of their powers but now...

Still, Captain Haruta knew they gotta do what they gotta do!
