"So that's how it is~" Sougo nodded thoughtfully, completely ignoring Gates' reaction. "By the way, what did you look like in the World of Tsukuyomi?"
"I know a bit about Gates and Woz, but I still don't know anything about you."
"Me?" Tsukuyomi blinked, caught off guard by the question. A moment of silence followed.
"What's wrong?" Sougo asked curiously.
"She had lost her memory before joining our resistance group," Woz explained on her behalf.
"Huh? You have amnesia?" Sougo looked at Tsukuyomi with surprise.
Tsukuyomi nodded quietly. "Yes."
"What does your name mean, anyway?"
"It's just a code name. I don't know my real name," she replied, sounding a bit down.
"Alpina," said a voice casually.
"Huh?" Everyone turned toward the source—Ryuga, who had just walked in from the kitchen holding a popsicle.
"Alpina. That's her real name," he said as he sat down.
"Really?!" Tsukuyomi stood up, eyes wide with shock.
"Ryuga, do you know her background?" Sougo asked urgently.
"Sit down and I'll explain everything," Ryuga gestured. The group immediately gathered in a row, like eager listeners waiting for a good story.
"To start with, Sougo, do you know where your power over time actually comes from?"
"Wasn't I born with it?" Sougo tilted his head.
"No, no." Ryuga wagged his finger and pointed at Tsukuyomi. "Go on. You explain."
"Me?" Tsukuyomi blinked again. "How would I know?"
"If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a time Motoyasu took you somewhere while I wasn't around?" Ryuga prompted.
"He took her to see you as a child," Gates interjected, grumbling. "Why didn't we know?"
"Focus, Gates," Sougo elbowed him to keep quiet.
"Oh, right!" Tsukuyomi suddenly remembered. "He showed me Sougo's childhood!"
"Yes! I remember now—Swartz injected something into Sougo back then!"
"Wait... Was that the power of time?" Tsukuyomi suddenly connected the dots.
"Bingo," Ryuga confirmed. "Sougo, you might've been born with magical power, but the power of time was given to you—by Swartz."
"Huh?! You're saying my time power came from Swartz?" Sougo turned to Woz, wide-eyed.
Woz threw up his hands. "Don't look at me. This is news to me too!"
"But what does that have to do with Tsukuyomi?" Gates asked, puzzled.
"Let me tell the full story." Ryuga leaned back into his 'dramatic narrator' mode.
"In another world, there exists a royal family that guards the power of time. Naturally, a throne requires an heir—but this generation had two candidates: an older brother and a younger sister.
"Traditionally, the elder brother expected to inherit the throne. But fate chose differently. His sister surpassed him in talent, especially with the power of time. She was named the true successor.
"Jealousy drove the brother to madness. He sealed away her powers and memories, and then exiled her to another world."
"So the sister was... Tsukuyomi?" Sougo asked.
Ryuga raised an eyebrow. "Do you know something I don't?"
Sougo scratched his head. "Eh? Isn't that obvious?"
Gates and Woz frowned in deep thought.
"This brother... it was Swartz!" Gates and Woz said in unison.
Tsukuyomi stared at Ryuga, stunned.
"What?! Why?!" Sougo was still not putting the pieces together.
Gates sighed. "Please, apply basic reading comprehension!"
"Alright, alright! That's enough information, right? Can we move on to actual business now?" Ryuga said quickly, clearly trying to dodge any emotional fallout.
"What business?" Sougo looked at him.
"Huh? I didn't say yet?"
"No!"
"Well then, I'll repeat myself!" Ryuga shrugged.
(You never said it to begin with!)
"There's an alien Rider causing havoc outside. I figured none of you had gone out to check."
"What?! Why didn't you say so earlier?!"
"How long ago?"
"Maybe half an hour?" Ryuga said casually, licking his popsicle.
Sougo rolled his eyes and dashed out with Gates and Tsukuyomi, Woz following behind.
But before long, all four of them returned—empty-handed.
The attacker was Another Agito, a mutated version of the real Agito. While not particularly strong, he had a disturbing ability: infection and multiplication. He could attack humans and turn them into creatures like himself, almost zombie-like.
To prevent further infection among civilians, the Riders had to let him escape.
Even Tsukuyomi had fought—and surprisingly, she held her own. Triggered by intense emotions after learning her true identity, she awakened the sealed power of time within her and even unleashed the legendary Time Stop technique.
Now there was no doubt—she really was Swartz's sister.
But instead of bringing her clarity, it made her even more uneasy.
She remembered Ryuga's warning:
She betrays them.
Gates dies.
Sougo becomes the Demon King and destroys the world.
Until now, she had no idea why she would ever betray them. But now, knowing her royal lineage and connection to Swartz, it seemed... possible. Not likely, but not impossible.
And if that was possible—
Would the other two fates come true as well?
Gates dying? Well, he already had a habit of dying.
Gates: "Excuse me?!"
But Sougo destroying the world? That was too far-fetched. He had already proven himself a hero, not a tyrant.
The internal conflict overwhelmed her. Her mind couldn't handle the overload, and she collapsed on the spot. Because she was now "Time's Key," no one could carry her easily. They had to haul her back and lay her on the sofa.
Ryuga, still around (he was waiting for dinner), sighed. Too much drama before a meal.
While Tsukuyomi rested, the other three Riders sat down for a strategy meeting.
"How do we deal with this multiplying Another Agito?" Sougo asked.
"Should we find the real Kamen Rider Agito and ask for help?" Woz offered.
"Do you know where he is?" Gates asked.
"Nope!" Sougo grinned.
"I knew it..." Woz groaned.
"Just search him on Baidu," Ryuga said lazily.
"Wait, that might actually work!" Sougo's eyes lit up.
Gates: "Are you serious right now?"
"Got it!" Sougo exclaimed moments later.
Woz and Gates rushed to look at the screen.
"…It's just a restaurant," Woz said flatly, staring at the listing for "Restaurant Agito."
