Seeing Director Ryan walking toward them with a stern expression on his face, everyone immediately stopped talking, standing as straight as arrows with their eyes fixed forward.
"Report, Director! All Management Bureau personnel have assembled. Five hundred and thirty-two personnel were expected, and all five hundred and thirty-two were present!"
Emily stepped out from the formation, holding a document in her hand, and reported loudly to Director Ryan.
"Understood. Return to your position!"
"Yes, Director!"
Emily returned to the formation.
Director Ryan, dressed in his formal blue uniform, first glanced at the four captains standing before him.
Then, he swept his gaze across everyone present and spoke in a deep voice:
"At ease!"
Upon hearing the Director's command, everyone moved in unison with a swish, stepping out with their left feet in perfect synchronization.
