Chapter 82 - Trial (Part Six)

There was silence all around.

Everyone who listened to Aaron's story felt a strange, indescribable feeling.

Aaron's voice was flat, without much variation, but everyone knew that his story contained so much blood, tears, and bitterness.

"I'm back."

"The Azure Ring, and the wizard apprentices of the Dark Forest—all of it is finally unimportant, and finally over." Aaron's lips curled slightly.

A cold smile appeared on his lips.

His voice was also very soft.

"You can all just die."

"ah!"

Bang!

A wizard apprentice near Aaron screamed, and his body suddenly exploded, turning into a cloud of blood mist that drifted down from the sky.

The other wizard apprentices finally realized what was happening. They screamed, their eyes filled with immense fear as they looked at Aaron.

"You, you, you, how dare you!"

"No, no, please don't kill me!"

"I'll fight you to the death! I'll fight you to the death!"

"Ah, ah, ahhh!"

The wizard apprentices retreated, some shouting, some begging for mercy, some looking crazed and wanting to fight Aaron to the death. At this moment, everyone's true nature was fully revealed.

Unfortunately, just as Aaron said, it was all in vain.

hiss!

The black serpent's vertical, yellowish-brown pupils were icy cold. It let out a silent hiss as it looked up at the sky, then moved and charged fiercely towards the wizard apprentices in front of it.

"ah!"

"Ahh!"

The wizard apprentices screamed as they were burned to ashes by the thin flames on the black serpent phantom. Even those who tried to escape were ultimately unable to escape.

No wizarding apprentice could resist.

This was a complete massacre.

Everything quieted down again, and the surroundings were peaceful, except for a patch of black ash on the ground.

The ground was full of potholes and white smoke was constantly billowing out; it was a mess, as if a volcanic eruption had just taken place.

Morin was somewhat shocked by what he saw.

Based on what he had seen before leaving the Dark Forest, he now knew exactly what was going on.

Clearly, Aaron obtained the laboratory left behind by Gregory, thereby merging with the bloodline of the Blackmandor Lava Serpent and becoming a Blackmandor Lava Serpent Warlock.

I never expected that the power of bloodline would be so strong. It hasn't been long, but Aaron's strength has undergone earth-shattering changes. Now, Aaron has at least the strength of a formal wizard.

"This is only a subspecies of Pankola. If I obtain the essence of the Pankola Crimson Serpent and then use the Mina totem to become a true ancient wizard..."

"Then, my strength will..."

Morin was not discouraged at all; he thought of some things, and his heart became excited.

call.

Countless plumes of smoke and faint flames surged and disappeared completely behind Aaron. Aaron slowly descended from the sky, his expression carefree and serene.

"Morlin," Aaron said softly, his eyes full of tenderness as he looked at Morlin. "It's been a long time. I never expected we would meet in this way."

"Yes, it was indeed a surprise."

Morin sighed.

Aaron looked at Morin without saying a word.

After a moment, he suddenly laughed and said, "Morin, thank you, my friend."

"Back when I was on the verge of going crazy for Elena, you and Richard came to comfort me and helped me through the most painful period; on the ship, you also protected me many times and helped me through the most dangerous phase. If it weren't for your help, I think I would have died."

"And in the Dark Forest, you didn't look down on me because of my aptitude, just like the others did; instead, you were helpful to me."

"You, Richard, anyway, thank you, thank you all."

Aaron sighed, a sincere smile spreading across his face.

Morin paused, taken aback.

He touched his nose and didn't say anything.

"Molin, the secret realm is very dangerous now, so you must be careful and avoid any accidents."

Aaron said.

He felt a pang of pity. If he hadn't secretly infiltrated this place for the sake of the legendary bloodline, he might have protected Morin until the end of this trial.

This trial was far too dangerous, and he had no idea what Morin's trump cards or secrets were, so he couldn't help but worry about Morin.

You know, Morin was one of his few friends.

However, Morin could not go with them, because even Aaron was unsure what might happen to them, and it might not be safe for Morin to go with them.

"Merlin, go southwest. We've swept through there before, and there shouldn't be many wizard apprentices there in a short time. Morlin, go there; it's much safer there."

Aaron said, offering a suggestion to Morin.

Morin paused for a moment, then nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go."

He knew that Aaron considered him an ordinary wizard apprentice, which was why he made that suggestion, but Morin hadn't finished what he wanted to do, so how could he possibly go to that area?

To maintain a good level among the surviving wizard apprentices, one must observe the scores of other wizard apprentices and pay close attention. Otherwise, randomly killing some wizard apprentices and hiding will result in either more or less points, which is not good.

Morin needs to at least figure out the general strength of the other wizard apprentices in order to make an assessment in his mind before accumulating points.

Aaron nodded. He looked at Morin, thought for a moment, and then suddenly took out a silver token and handed it to Morin.

When the silver token was first taken out, a faint layer of silver flame appeared on its surface, but it disappeared from the surface of the token shortly afterward.

The token looked completely ordinary, without anything unusual about it.

"Morlin, take this token. It might come in handy later," Aaron said softly.

The men in black robes had been watching closely, and when they saw Aaron take out the silver token, their faces showed expressions of horror.

"Your Majesty, this is the Silver Soul Token, how could you..."

A man in black robes couldn't hold back any longer. He stepped forward, wanting to say something.

But Aaron only glanced at him, which made him feel embarrassed and he didn't dare to say another word.

"Morlin, please accept this." Aaron looked at Morlin with a very sincere expression.

"good."

Morin thought for a moment and nodded.

Aaron smiled warmly. After saying a few more words to Morin, he led the others in another direction.

Morin stood there, watching Aaron and the men in black robes gradually disappear, then looked at the silver token in his hand and couldn't help but shake his head and smile.

"Really..." Morin let out a breath. There were just too many twists and turns in the events, and he didn't know what to say.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in the woods; it was Sieg.

"Jack, you..."

Sig appeared nearby, about to say something, but was immediately stunned by what he saw.

The surrounding area was a mess, and it was estimated that many wizard apprentices had died. All of this was because of the man in front of him, Jack.

"Sieg, I didn't expect you to catch up." Morin turned his head, looked at Sieg, and raised an eyebrow.

"No, no, no, I'm not."

Sig's expression changed drastically in an instant.

He waved his hand and kept saying, "Just passing by, just passing by, I'm just passing by, that's all."

After saying that, he turned around without thinking and ran into the forest.

Soon, Sig's figure disappeared completely.

Morin was quite surprised, but when he saw the messy ground nearby, he understood what Sieg was thinking.

He couldn't help but chuckle softly.

After calming herself down a bit, Morin turned around and walked in another direction.

He needs to look around first.

After traveling for a while, Morin encountered many wizarding apprentices again, including members of various wizarding organizations in the Dark Forest, the Misty Labyrinth, the Bone Tower, and so on.

Of course, the final result was self-evident: Morin, who possessed the alchemical grenade, was simply incomparable to an ordinary wizard apprentice.

But when Morin saw the creature before him, a look of surprise still appeared on his face.

"Dark elves?" Morin raised an eyebrow.

The dark elf opposite was a tall female elf with a curvaceous figure, wearing gorgeous leather armor, and with delicate features; she was very beautiful.

"Wizard Apprentice, since you've come here, then you have no reason to live." The dark elf slowly drew his cross-shaped sword.

She moved with agility, like a cheetah, and charged forward with the slightest movement.

bite!

A crisp impact sound rang out.

Merlin had somehow drawn his cross sword, and with a flash, he miraculously blocked the dark elf's attack.

"Are you looking for death?" A cold smile appeared on Morin's lips.

"What?"

The dark elf was startled.

But it's no longer very effective.

Countless tiny, blood-red vines appeared out of nowhere and tightly bound her. Just as the dark elf tried to struggle, with a soft thud, the cross-shaped sword pierced her neck.

Morin slowly drew his cross sword, his expression indifferent as he watched the dark elf gradually lose its life.

"I…I…I won't let you in…Your Highness…Your Highness's mission for me is to stop the human wizard apprentices nearby…For…for us dark elves…you…you can't…"

The dark elf coughed up blood incessantly. She reached out, trying to grab Morin's clothes, but to little avail.

Morin delivered the final blow, killing the dark elf.

As he retrieved the cross sword, Morin recalled what the dark elf had said.

"This is really interesting."

Maureen's lips curled into a smile.

After thinking for a moment, he turned around and walked in the direction the dark elf had been guarding.

After walking for a short while, Morin suddenly noticed that his surroundings were becoming increasingly strange, and even the composition of the air had changed.

The analysis provided by the chip reassured him somewhat, so Morin continued on his way.

He arrived at a cave, inside which was a sealed sorcery array containing a stone the size of an infant's fist, its surface covered with blood-red patterns, pulsating incessantly like a heart—a truly bizarre sight.

However, the light of the magic circle is now dim and very weak, and the stone is constantly pulsating, as if it is about to break through the seal.

"What is this?" Morin asked, a look of surprise in his eyes.

Without much hesitation, Morin reached out and grabbed the stone.

At this moment, Morin discovered an entrance on the other side of the cave. From the entrance, he could see many dark elves sitting cross-legged outside, constantly chanting witchcraft incantations in a low voice.

Dark elves discovered Morin and shouted something in Old Andas.

...

"Your Highness, the Bloodline Seal Stone has been taken by a human wizard apprentice!" Annie said anxiously from the side.

Freya's face looked terrible.

With the help of their numerous dark elves, the Bloodline Seal Stone was about to break free of its seal and fly out on its own, so that they could complete the task assigned by the Night Mother. Who could have imagined that at this crucial moment, a human wizard apprentice would appear and obtain the Bloodline Seal Stone?

Damn it!

Freya punched a nearby rock, instantly shattering a large boulder into pieces.

"Shout to that wizard apprentice, we're willing to pay the price if he's willing to hand over the Bloodline Seal Stone!" Freya pursed her lips and said fiercely.

Annie, who was standing next to her, nodded. She had only called out once or twice when Freya suddenly noticed that the human wizard apprentice was waving at them, then put the bloodline imprint stone in his pocket and turned to leave.

Before leaving, the human was actually laughing.

"this..."

"Damn it!"

All the dark elves wore expressions of astonishment and disbelief, while Freya's face turned extremely grim as she looked in the direction Morin had disappeared.
