He, however, neither dodged nor avoided, but swung the Battle Saber in his hand straight toward the guard's chest. This was completely a mutual-destruction style of fighting. His strength was already far inferior to Ding Fan's to begin with, and on top of that he pulled back mid-strike to change moves—classic overthinking the "perfect technique"—which weakened his Power by another ten percent.
