*It had been a few days since the quirk apprehension test. All students in class 1A had gotten along-- well, most of the students. Right now in the class, the English class had just ended and the students were chatting with each other, waiting for the next period to start which was... Basic hero training!*
*In the classroom*
The class was chatting among each other. Kaminari, who had been playing with his pencil, suddenly asked,
"Soo does anyone know who's gonna be teaching the combat classes?" he asked curiously.
Everyone perked up at that while I stayed silent, expecting it to be All Might since he's the one who told me my ranking in the UA exam and maybe told the others their rankings too.
"Maybe it's Mr. Aizawa? I mean he's our homeroom teacher, right?" Kirishima said thoughtfully.
The class continued guessing and asking themselves. I, alongside Bakugo—who looked like he'll kill someone—had grown tired of their mummering.
"Can all of you shut up?! It's All Might!" I said sharply.
All the students stopped talking and glanced at me in confusion. Before anyone else could speak, as if on cue, the classroom doors slammed open revealing All Might walking in.
"I am coming through the door like a normal person!!" he shouted proudly.
I turned to the bewildered students and smirked.
"Called it," I said confidently.
"HOW?!" the students shouted in disbelief.
All Might, confused but unfazed, stepped forward and said,
"YOUNG HEROES! I hope you're all ready, because I am here! Not just to inspire but also to teach!"
"I teach Hero Basic Training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll take the most units of this subject! Let's get right into it. This is what we'll do today: Combat training!" he explained enthusiastically.
The room erupted in excitement. Most students grinned at the word battle, but Bakugo looked positively thrilled.
"Battle—" he growled angrily.
"—training!" I said quickly, finishing his sentence with a grin.
"And to go with that are these!" All Might said dramatically. "Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started!"
Just on cue, lockers slid out from the walls containing our hero costumes.
"Come on! After you change, gather at Ground Beta!" he ordered.
"Yes, sir!" the class shouted together.

*Timeskip a bit after they changed their hero costumes and gathering at ground beta"
"Woah, that gi is awesome, man! Your name is Izuku Midoriya, right?" Kirishima said, impressed.
'..I guess it's alright to tell. Eraserhead already revealed my name and this guy complimented me before..' I thought.
"Yes, that is my name," I said calmly.
"Nice gi! Do you train in martial arts too?" Mashirao Ojiro asked politely.
"Yes… you can say that," I replied.
"I see! I study martial arts too. Wanna spar sometimes?" he asked with a smile.
"...Hmph. Fine. But don't come crying when you lose. Trust me, I don't care," I said, crossing my arms.
"Haha! Nah, I won't lose, but even then, that proves I need more training," he laughed.
I just nodded. Then All Might, looking at some papers, said,
"They say the clothes make the man, young men and ladies. Be fully aware that from now on… you are heroes! That is great, everyone. You all look cool. Now shall we begin?"
He glanced at the paper in his hands—no one noticed except me, and I was slightly surprised.
"Now listen up! Because we're going with a unique combat battle! The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. Heroes must catch the villains or retrieve the weapon in the allotted time. Villains must protect the weapon or catch the heroes. Did you all get that? GOOD!" he said firmly.
All Might pulled out two boxes labeled heroes and villains.
"We'll decide which team fights the other by pulling out balls labeled with your alphabet team! But first, let me list all the teams!"
Team A: Izuku Midoriya & Eijiro Kirishima
Team B: Shoto Todoroki & Mashirao Ojiro
Team C: Momo Yaoyorozu & Minoru Mineta
Team D: Katsuki Bakugo & Tenya Iida
Team E: Yuga Aoyama & Mina Ashido
Team F: Rikido Sato & Koji Koda
Team G: Denki Kaminari & Kyoka Jiro
Team H: Fumikage Tokoyami & Tsuyu Asui
Team I: Ochaco Uraraka & Toru Hagakure
Team J: Mezo Shoji & Hanta Sero
All Might reached into the boxes and pulled out two balls.
"Interesting matchups! It's Team A vs Team B!" he said with a grin.
I smirked. "Interesting… looks like we'll fight sooner than later," I said quietly.
"Hehe, yeah! It will be a good match," Mashirao Ojiro said excitedly.
"Heh, we'll see if your ice bypasses MY defense!" Eijiro Kirishima said confidently.
Shoto Todoroki just ignored him.
Both teams went to their respective places, strategizing and waiting for the moment it starts. While the villains hid the bomb, Kirishima stretched, and I leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"Ready, Midobro?" Kirishima asked, excited to battle.
"...I… don't call me that again," I muttered, slightly speechless.
