In the dining room, Su Lan was chopping vegetables, and Su Qingtian turned around to help get the bowls and chopsticks.
Tong Ran pulled Mo Nanjue into the dining room. She rose on tiptoe. "Mom, what yummy stuff did you make?"
Su Lan smiled as she stir-fried. "Something you love to eat."
Mo Nanjue sat down on the soft chair to the side, crossed one long leg over the other, and let his gaze sweep outward, just in time to land on the figure standing by the sink.
He paused for a moment.
Tong Ran came over and straddled his lap, just enough to block his line of sight. She cupped his handsome face. "Don't you dare say you're not hungry again."
Mo Nanjue smiled and slipped an arm around her waist. Tong Ran mimicked him and bent her head to bite the corner of his mouth. Su Lan walked over with a dish and lightly coughed. "Xiao Ran, what do you think you're doing in broad daylight?"
