Cami, Alya, and Myne- the three of them are all busy talking to each other like they always had been one day, just the three of them. This was something strange or abnormal for them as the three of them. They were all what others considered friends, after all; thus, they gathered and met like this quite often.
Given that no one in this village had a normal sense of time anymore. Along with the fact that once someone was roboticized, they were already considered as having always been a part of the settlement from the start, thus there was no real adjustment period. So the day since Myne was originally roboticized into an automaton was an untold amount of weeks, months, years, or long ago now. The only ones that actually knew just did not care for their own reasons. Those being Page, Carter, and Reva, who were fully independent. Page and Carter fully, while Reva was technically under the Mecha Lord, but they have been forgotten just like Southern Guardian had over the countless years he had been offline.
Alya, though, was a unique case amongst all the other automaton in the settlement. She was not under Reva's influence like everyone else, but she was not free of someone's thought, as she was considered under her son, Carter, somehow. Thus, that left her in a state where she did not see Reva, Cami, and Myne as everyone else did. As a result of that, she was actually able to make friends with them, as she viewed them on a pedestal like everyone else did. To everyone else, they were Lady Cami and Director that served their Lord Reva.
Thus, as Alya became closer with Cami and Myne. That did kind of isolate her from the others in the settlement that started, by extension, viewing her as someone who was slightly above them. So they would either wonder why that was or just not interact with her as much over time as well. Coming up with their own reasoning not to do so as a result. No one would ever get mad or jealous over the fact she had friendships with Cami and Myne, as that was a result of Reva, though. The reasoning for that was that, since everyone was under his influence as the Southern Guardian, they acted how he wanted them to. Since he just wanted to be alone in peace without any real major conflict. They were basically free to do and think whatever they wanted, as long as it did not disturb his peaceful life, after all.
Though this was the case, things still did happen that changed his surroundings, but nothing too drastic, as he did somehow acquire Myne. She was the last descendant of the three that, if roboticized, were to be his three Directors. Myne, after being roboticized into an automaton, had her Director programming but had no idea what to do with it beyond just who she is, and he was not in a rush to fill her in on her role. So she just kind of existed as someone that worked with Cami as Page did.
Sometime later....
There was an automaton girl with medium length hair that just randomly started staring vacantly at nothing all of a sudden. She was doing this from time to time as she wandered aimlessly around the settlement. No one really noticed her doing so that much and just wrote her off as another member of the settlement like everyone else. Though what they were not aware of was that this automaton girl had been roboticized and added to their ranks. However, for whatever reason, she was not given a role or backstory beyond just being a resident of the settlement. Thus, she thought she had always been here, but that was it. She did not have a role or story to go with that like everyone else. So she was always just there; as a result, she was roaming around without a purpose.
"Do you know who that is, Lady Cami?" Page asked her.
Page called Cami Lady and Reva Lord because she was Reva's only true ally currently that was not one because they were under his influence. Carter was not his ally, just someone whose goals and desires currently aligned with his own.
"She is under Lord Reva. I know that much," Cami said, placing one of her hands covered by an oversized sleeve on her chest.
The only one wearing any kind of clothing, not for modesty but because it was functional. Cami's touch caused any automaton to go offline if she touched them directly, including herself. Thus, she wore the oversized shirt with oversized sleeves to prevent this from happening.
"Weird, as I keep just seeing her just wandering around but not knowing who she is," Page said.
"She is here and a resident of the settlement; thus she must belong here," Cami said.
"I guess, though it is kind of strange, she is just there," Page inquired.
As a result of this, Page just wrote it off herself, as not being under the influence that just made everyone roboticized a part of the settlement automatically. Made so that when someone was, she was to accept whatever role or story they had. Her desire to serve the Southern Guardian came from when she was still human, thus how, even though she was not under his influence, she followed him willingly.
Page was not aware of it yet, but this was the first encounter she had made with someone that would become very close to both herself and Carter. It was a chance encounter that would eventually come to alter not just how the two of them went about doing things going forward. It was also another step forward for something that had remained motionless and unmoving for an extremely long amount of time. This once thought forgotten process was not truly forgotten; it was only delayed, and not that first gear had started moving once again. The other were starting to as well; however, things would play out as they had originally been supposed to because of all the changes that happened, which caused this to be a unique scenario in the first place, after all.
