As they spoke, the computer's notification sound kept beeping incessantly.
Although she had only been sick for a day, there were surely many things at the company that needed Mr. Chu's attention. Staying home to take care of her was already a big deal; she didn't want to make things tougher for him.
Upon hearing her swift response, Mr. Chu raised an eyebrow in curiosity and touched her forehead again out of concern, "Has your temperature risen?"
"No, it hasn't!" She gently pushed his hand away, wrapped in a blanket as she got up, subtly showing her thoughtfulness, "I'll go next door to watch a movie while you keep busy with work, come find me once you're done."
