Just as Kael spun around to intercept Taro, Aleman reappeared from his blind spot and swung his dagger forward.
A length gash appeared from Kael shoulders down to the middle of his back, propelling him forward.
Taro's attack connected as well, sending Kael spiralling backwards across the air.
Then, Saphira appeared out of nowhere with her sword hacking forward diagonally.
