Dominique looked down at Carrot and then back at Leo, suddenly remembering that he was indeed holding the son of a man who could make his life extremely difficult.
"Fine. I'll behave," he muttered, though his pout made it clear he wasn't happy about it.
Leo gave him a knowing smirk and Dominique decided that perhaps it would be wiser to focus on the adorable baby in his arms.
After a little while, however, Dominique's attention drifted toward Leo's daughter. She was sleeping peacefully against her father's chest, her little face partly hidden by her pink blanket.
Dominique smiled at the sight.
"Though, Leo, I bet your daughter is going to be incredibly beautiful when she grows up," he said, his voice light with genuine admiration.
Leo looked down at his princess, his expression softening with unmistakable pride.
"Of course she will be," he said without hesitation.
Dominique laughed at his immediate response, shaking his head. "You don't even pretend to be modest, do you?"
