Three hours ago…
After a trip to the astral realm, Raven returned to the material world, exhaustion etched into his sunken eyes.
"Hmmm… the old man is out again." Raven noticed from the quietness of the apartment.
Kase's nightly activities have been on the rise lately. Very rarely did Raven ever see him every day. Was the situation at the Serpents that bad or was he using the faction as a cover for something else?
"Blaike rarely misses training so maybe there's something else..."
Raven's face paled as he remembered something. "Well, she did say she would never miss a day of ass-whooping for anything else… whatever, no point thinking. It's not like he would tell me if I asked him."
Why was his mentor a devil? Raven mourned in his heart. Gone was his well being. By the time Blaike was done with him, all that would be left was probably just a skeleton.
