Tom Burther had arrived at the area where the soldiers had to face the zombies head-on. The location was near the Food Supply Department building. There was an intersection on the west side of the building, and the soldiers were trying to defend the area there.
Each soldier was protected by body armor and helmets, as well as other protective equipment attached to their bodies. The frontline soldiers were using ballistic shields to defend themselves while trying to push the large group of zombies away from the area.
The sky was dark without stars, and the air was cold. In less than ten minutes after the Commander's arrival, heavy rain poured down from the dark sky.
"This rain will hinder our movement and limit our visibility! Everyone must remain vigilant! Don't do anything rash!" Tom Burther shouted from the terrace of a building.
