The room was silent.
Not the peaceful kind of silence, but the suffocating kind that pressed against the walls and lingered in the air like something waiting to happen.
Sabrina sat alone in her rented room, fingers resting lightly against the arm of her chair, legs crossed, her gaze unfocused as if she were staring at something far beyond the walls of the capital.
Then she smiled.
Slow. Calculated and evil.
Everything had already been set in motion.
Every piece had been placed exactly where it needed to be.
Nothing was left to luck, everything was going to happen as if it had been willed to happen.
She exhaled softly, leaning back as her thought began to align, one after another, like a carefully constructed web.
A venomous one.
Sabrina had painstakingly arranged everything in detail;
Currently she had over a thousand undead soldiers under her command, more were still being added to the numbers, a feat made possible by Vanis, she considered her power supply.
She planned to release them at the capital, half on the stadium and the remaining on the capital. This was to divide the Kingdom's forces.
The kingdom's strongest would gather where the threat seemed greatest. They always did. And while they were focused on what they could see, everything else would collapse quietly beneath them.
Numbers would overwhelm the rest.
And the fallen….they would rise again under her command.
Her lips curved slightly.
Important figures hmm…she needed an upper hand after all.
That was an important mission which she could not leave to her army, after all, they'd all get killed, best case scenario they win, they'd just kill them which would complicate her plan, so her best bet was to do that herself.
There was a chance that she might get caught but that was already accounted for with a counter measure already set up.
This body was temporary.
Her current body of Juliet was a bomb and her new transfer would be to Nadia Samir.
Juliet was nothing more than a vessel nearing the end of it's use.
She was just using Vanis, a stupid demon she came across while siphoning in the underworld for more dark mana.
She had hit her mana limit some time ago while amassing mana and fortunately that's when Vanis had come in.
He offered her a solution to her problems, excess mana for something so easy to procure, a human host, a strong one with potential.
Nadia Samir was ideal but she was taking that for herself.
It wasn't be a problem to find a young person with potential, after all her powers allowed her to use the mana levels of a person to determine their potential and that was how she found Nadia Samir.
Finding a host that was close to Jayden Reginald was an added bonus.
Paying Vanis his host was another thing.
'I've never tricked a demon, there's always a time for everything.'
She knew how to cast out Vanis when the time was right, but now she still needed him.
Next up on her list was to burn down the Kingdom to ashes and recreate it in her likeness.
Not this broken kingdom. Not this flawed system that wronged her.
Something better.
Something hers.
Her expression softened and she smiled warmly.
After that, when she was done with overthrowing the kingdom, she'd bring her mother back to life and let her live the happy, peaceful life she always wanted in her time.
"That's it for the major plan, now for my personal plans." Sabrina said as she stretched her hands and licked her lips.
The whole plan above had been stepping stones, or maybe things she needed to do to achieve her main personal plans.
Firstly, in the exact order she wanted it to be.
She'd forcefully seduce Luke and sleep with him in front of Sarah, after that she'd turn Luke into an undead while retaining his memories and his ability to feel pain, then kill him in the most painful way possible all this while Sarah and Jayden are forced to watch.
Next, she planned to drain Sarah's life force as well as her mana, turning her into a dead corpse, all while Jayden while be stuck watching.
Last, remaining Jayden, if any of his friends were still alive, she'd skin them alive while forcing him to watch.
This last part could change depending on her mood and of course if his friends will still be alive after setting the whole kingdom on fire.
She hadn't known the Reginald's for long but she hated the fact that both Luke and Jayden were stronger than her.
Sarah. That was just revenge, and them belonging in the same family was the icing on the cake.
'Maybe I'll take Jayden's body after the torture….hard pass, I wont be able to seduce men as easily like that.' Sabrina thought as she stood up and went to the open window and seeing a drunken man wandering outside,unaware of anything beyond his next step, decided to have fun with him.
Whistling and getting the man's attention, she unbuttoned the top of her white night gown and smiled to the man.
Using her index finger, she gestured the man to come to her which he responded with surprising speed for a fat, drunken man.
Pathetic.
Turning back, she smiled "I think I'm happy with being a woman, although I'm going to look like a child soon. Well, I'll deal with that then. Some men are into that though."
The wind slowly drifted through the curtain, a soft cold breeze that made Sabrina's body feel alive.
She looked out into the crescent moon, a single star in an empty sky and smiled, a deep smile, that suiting an evil temptress.
"Yes… this will do."
Sabrina's voice barely rose above a whisper, yet it carried a certainty that made the air feel heavier.
There was no hesitation left in her. No doubt.
Only intent.
The door opened moments later.
The drunken man entered her room and found her lying on her bed in a seductive way, her night gown almost fully transparent, revealing that she was wearing nothing underneath.
"Come, come to me." Sabrina whispered, her voice soft as silk and arousing.
And nothing else mattered.
The man quickly jumped and embraced her, all form of reason being removed by the overwhelming sense of lust lust that had overcome him.
As he embraced her, she whispered into his ear "You know you're going to die this night."
The man replied, whether because he was stupid or because he wasn't thinking straight at the moment, Sabrina didn't know, neither did she care.
"Yeah, you too. I'm going to take you to heaven. Don't mind how I look, I'm a genius in bed." he replied, his voice gruff and stale of ale.
"Ok darling." Sabrina said as with a slight wave of her finger used magic to lock and sound proof the door.
No interruptions.
No escape.
