On the battlefield
"Weezing, huh."Dylan smiled faintly.
"Extreme Speed!"
Hisuian Arcanine burst forward at full stride, charging straight at Weezing at terrifying speed.
"Weezing! Sludge Bomb!"
Weezing spat out deep-purple sludge bombs, predicting Arcanine's running path.
But Hisuian Arcanine didn't dodge at all.
It threaded between the sludge bombs at blinding speed, weaving left and right effortlessly.
To the audience, all they saw was a red blur slicing through the projectiles—afterimages trailing behind it.
Gasps and screams erupted.
It was just too cool.

Extreme Speed slammed straight into Weezing, sending it tumbling backward.
"Fire Blast!"
Using the rebound from the impact, Hisuian Arcanine charged flames in its mouth while sliding back.
A massive Fire Blast roared out.
"Protect!"
Weezing's physical defense was very high—Extreme Speed hadn't hurt it much.
A green barrier flashed up just in time.

Fire Blast exploded violently, flames painting the sky red.
But the attack failed to break Protect.
The flames faded. The barrier disappeared.

Another collision.
Hisuian Arcanine struck again with Extreme Speed, charging through the lingering flames.
This time, it didn't retreat.
"Flamethrower!"
At point-blank range, blazing fire erupted from Arcanine's mouth.
Boom!
The raging column of flame struck Weezing head-on.
There was no time to defend.
The fire slammed it down, smashing it into the ground.
A perfect hit.
"So vicious…!"Selene's delicate face scrunched up again.
She'd lost count of how many times she'd complained like this already.
Hisuian Arcanine's offense was simply too violent.
Not only were the attacks powerful, but the follow-ups were relentless—no breathing room at all.
"Flare Blitz!"
Dylan wasn't finished.
Hisuian Arcanine dove from midair, flames exploding around its body.

The attack slammed into Weezing, which hadn't even stood up yet.
Explosive flames and shockwaves tore through the battlefield, cracking the ground apart.
The entire arena shook.
"Holy crap! Extreme Speed, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz—how is that so smooth?!"Rosa stared, dumbfounded.
"That Weezing's getting completely wrecked. No way it can withstand an assault like that," Alder exclaimed.
N glanced toward Selene.
The smoke and embers cleared.
Hisuian Arcanine stood proudly at the edge of a massive crater.
Red lightning crackled across its body—the recoil damage from Flare Blitz.
It let out a low grunt.
Flare Blitz hurt, but it was already used to it.
"Toxic!"
Selene's voice rang out sharply.
"…Hmm?"Dylan looked toward the crater.
Weezing—previously motionless—suddenly sprang up.
A splash of dark-purple venom sprayed straight at Hisuian Arcanine.
Arcanine tried to dodge, but the recoil slowed it just enough.
Some venom struck home.
The poison sank in instantly.
Dark purple light flared across Arcanine's body, its expression twisting in pain.
Badly poisoned.
The first tick of Toxic wasn't too painful—but Hisuian Arcanine was furious.

"Extreme Speed!"
Dylan ordered immediately.
The poison damage ended—and Hisuian Arcanine vanished.
"Weezing—!"

Extreme Speed smashed into Weezing again, slamming it to the ground.
"Flamethrower!"
Dylan glanced at Selene.What would she choose?
Hisuian Arcanine charged flames again.
"Explosion!"
Blinding white light erupted from Weezing.

Though it escaped the blast's center, the explosion's massive range still clipped it.
And more importantly—
It was badly poisoned.
That was why Dylan hadn't ordered Protect earlier.
If Toxic triggered mid-guard, it would have been over.
Even now, after the poison tick ended, Hisuian Arcanine was barely standing.
It turned its head toward Dylan.
Dylan nodded gently—no disappointment in his eyes.
Only then did Hisuian Arcanine finally relax.
It still mustered the strength to glare viciously at Weezing one last time.
The Terastallization light faded.
Its consciousness blurred.
Hisuian Arcanine collapsed.
"Weezing and Hisuian Arcanine have both lost the ability to battle."
The referee announced the result.
The stadium erupted.
"Finally beat that Hisuian Arcanine…"
"That thing was insane—trying to brute-force it would've been a team wipe."
"If not for Gengar and Weezing, taking it down would've been ridiculously hard."
"Let's hear it! What Iron Valiant and Mega Gengar couldn't do—Weezing did!"
"Anyone says Weezing's mid again and I'm throwing hands!"
The crowd buzzed loudly.
Dylan's tyrannical Hisuian Arcanine had finally fallen.
