Chen Lin saw that his words seemed to have given Lin Chen a huge amount of pressure and hastily added another sentence.
"I understand."
As he looked at Chen Lin, Lin Chen understood Chen Lin's intent. Although he verbally acknowledged it, Lin Chen's hand subtly clenched slightly, a trace of determination surged on his face. No matter what difficulties lay ahead, he was determined to lift the restriction in between.
After Lin Chen finished speaking, Chen Lin visibly relaxed. Despite being a Sect Elder, he didn't want to put too much pressure on Lin Chen. After all, supporting the Green Ripple Sect's affairs wasn't solely his responsibility.
