The figure retreated backward, brushing off some of the thick crimson stains on him as if there were some filth mixed in, making him appear that way.
Moments later, he looked up, gazing at Lin Chen with coldness emanating from his blood-red pupils. Though his words were praise, his expression induced a chill.
Lin Chen's gaze was equally cold. The actions of the person before him were something he couldn't tolerate, regardless of who he was.
He withdrew his sword, holding it again at an angle, releasing the Spiritual Energy from the blade, cautiously watching the figure.
"Can the barrier be broken by defeating you?"
Lin Chen narrowed his eyes and proceeded to ask.
"When it was sealed, indeed there was such a condition."
The figure grasped the round rod, seemingly nostalgic, bringing it close in a manner akin to greeting an old friend.
