On top of a pavilion, several figures stood, among them the one most captivating was a face of breathtaking beauty.
This face seemed carved by heaven, too beautiful to be real, like a celestial maiden descending to the mortal realm.
Beside this breathtaking woman, there was a young man, whose appearance and demeanor were both exceptional.
"Moon, do you think they will succeed?" the young man asked the beautiful woman beside him.
"No," the woman replied.
"Indeed, that's what I think too," the young man chuckled.
The woman frowned; her ink-black eyebrows seemed to silently question, if you think so, why send them to their deaths?
The young man noticed the woman's frown and explained: "Because I am their master. I can decide their life or death. Sending them to act first is merely a test. As part of my Shadow, how can they not experience life and death? Only those who survive can be my true confidants."
