"Indeed what is that werewolf doing?" Lord Alexander spoke with a frown appearing on his face, "He was supposed to deal with them, now incidents of people missing is all over the place,"
"Lyon is handling it, I'm certain, he's an hardworking man and knows to fulfill his duty," Lucian said with a grin on his face while thinking of the Alpha who had tried to snatch away his wife,
"Also I've heard from Jackson that he seems to have spotted a mermaid at the surface before the creature vanished back into the ocean," the duke said and Alexander grin in awe while Lucian just kept quiet,
"A mermaid, you say?" Alexander asked turning to look at Lucian who just had a small smile on his face, while John nodded in confirmation,
"You sure he saw well? You know how blind Jackson can be..." Lucian spoke with a smirk on his face,
"I mean yes, Jackson can be stupid at times but he seemed damned sure when he told me about it and even promised to get his hand on one because their blood is said to taste heavenly," John added as he ran his tongue on his pointy fangs,
"What do you think, Lucian, do you believe they exist?" Alexander asked him,
"I don't know, they might and they might not, no one can really tell, neither Jackson but if any of you are curious you can take a dive into the ocean and go look for yourselves mermaids," Lucian commented with a grin on his face,
"That's not funny, Lucian," John frowned as he turned to look at Alexander for support but he just chuckled instead,

That night while Sabrina slept peacefully in her room, she felt a presence and suddenly rose up to see Airen, who looked worried,
"It's been a while since I've seen you, Airen, why didn't you come visit?" Sabrina asked with a smile on her face as she sat well on her bed,
"I was supposed to-" it was then that, Lucian suddenly appeared in the room, startling them both,
"Hey ladies," he said with a smile on his face as he made his way towards Sabrina and sat beside her on the bed, "Hope I'm not missing out on any updates?"

"It's so unlike you Airen to not come visit your queen for so long, what happened," Lucian asked jokingly but Airen seemed to have taken what he said seriously because then she bowed,
"I'm sorry Queen Kalisa, I was supposed to come to the surface of land yesterday but I was almost caught by a vampire..... I think he saw me," Airen said a bit worried because their existence had been hidden for so long, only the witches knew of them, if another creature finds out, it will be trouble.

"The baby is healthy," she said before suddenly frowning, which both Sabrina and Lucian caught, "You were poisoned," she suddenly said and Lucian frowned,

"I can sense it in her, she could have been killed but it's because she is the queen mermaid so the poison didn't affect her... I wouldn't have been able to sense it but it was because it was a very powerful poison," Airen said with a worried look on her face,
