The crowd continued to yell and scream, calling out the absurdity of a vampire marrying a shifter.
"Liar!"
"The witch has betrayed the pack she is in league with the vampires!"
"Why Alpha King Ambrose? How could you be a traitor to us all? He worshipped you!"
Suddenly the air in the grew cold, and sound was sucked from the room leaving behind an unsettling, forced silence.
The room darkened and the moon in the sky, that looked once so close at the palace of the mountain and disappeared.
Heads turned around the room, mouths moved, but no words came out.
A woman tried to scream only to hear nothing.
