Brooke woke up the next morning to no news about Ethan, she checked all the gossip blogs and tabloids, but he hadn't made any claims to refute or affirm their divorce scandal. "How strange, this is unlike him." she thought, as she went into the bathroom to get dressed.
She reached for her face wash, only to see she had run out. Naturally, she opened the top cabinet for a new bottle, but accidentally knocked over Thane's medicine can.
"Oh no!" she crouched down to pick it up. However, a frown painted her lips when she saw that the can was nearly empty.
She picked it up and tried to find a replacement in the cabinet, "It seems this is the last one." she noted, she went over to the trash can, and tossed out the empty cans sitting in the cabinet.
"Why'd he keep those empty cans there in the first place?" she wondered, while washing her face.
