However, fearing their power would grow unchecked, the Celestial Supreme ordered their deaths. Legend has it that by the time they succeeded in purging the Necromancers, half of Heaven's army had fallen.
However, they succeeded, and for a few eras, peace reigned. That peace was shattered during the War Era when Magnus, the Paragon of War, spread fear and panic across galaxies.
It was in that era that he summoned the Vile and Evil Asmodeus, the Necromancer who came close to destroying the Heavens Legion. Asmodeus was HIM, the one who had dominion over the dead.
