Tang Yuzhou watched her actions, slightly dazed for a moment, then came back to his senses.
He also raised his glass, their gazes meeting in mid-air, then they exchanged a smile and simultaneously tilted their heads back to swallow the spicy liquid inside.
The drinking was as usual, but their moods were no longer the same.
Afterward, Su Jia unintentionally looked up to find Tang Yuzhou still gazing at her with a smile in his eyes. She instinctively felt a bit uneasy and averted her gaze.
Tang Yuzhou, however, didn't show much of a reaction, his demeanor as calm as ever.
"I'm going to the restroom." He casually placed his glass on the table, then stood up, habitually ruffled her hair, and spoke softly, "Wait for me to come back and I'll take you home."
"No need." Su Jia instinctively refused, "I drove here, I can get back myself."
Tang Yuzhou insisted, "You've been drinking."
Su Jia felt a bit of a headache, just couldn't reason with him, "You drank too..."
