"But I heard this particular massage technique is really effective. I read it in a book—the book said that someone was able to walk again because of this massage method." Xu Nianhua insisted, and actually, what she said wasn't wrong.
Only, she didn't see it in a book—she saw it with her own eyes.
"What book?" Xu Nian'an asked.
Xu Nianhua pressed harder, which made Xu Nian'an wince in pain. He said, "Little sister, be gentle, or you'll mess up my perfectly good leg."
"Nonsense. Why don't you practice first, and then try it on Yicheng tomorrow?" Xu Nianhua encouraged him, "It won't hurt to try another method, right? What if it actually works? Yicheng's helped us so much. Don't you want his leg to get better sooner?"
"Of course I do." Xu Nian'an answered without hesitation. He thought for a bit and said, "Alright, I'll give it a try tomorrow."
The next day.
Xu Nian'an took the opportunity while Ling Dong was changing medicine, and went early to find Pei Yicheng.
