"Little sis, what's up with Yicheng?" Xu Nian'an came back after making instant noodles, only to see Pei Yicheng looking off, walking super fast. He thought they'd had a fight. But then looking at Xu Nianhua smiling so happily, it didn't seem like they fought.
"It's nothing." Xu Nianhua was all smiles, but she wasn't about to admit that Yicheng got jealous and she caught him. So embarrassing.
She changed the subject: "Second brother, when you get home, you must not tell Mom and Dad about us dating."
"Mom and Dad would be happy, honestly." Xu Nian'an remembered how Ji Ying praised Pei Yicheng during New Year's. She almost wanted to snatch him home to be their son-in-law.
Dad might be reluctant to let Nianhua go, but Mom would be over the moon. Even if Mom and Dad find out, it's not a big deal.
