Second Update.

Li Xinli and Jiang Jie established a romantic relationship two and a half months ago.
It was only after establishing the relationship that Li Xinli learned Jiang Jie's family background was actually quite good. His parents were both leaders, and he had a sister who was already married to a well-matched family.
If she had known about Jiang Jie's family background earlier, Li Xinli probably wouldn't have had the courage to express her feelings to him. She truly learned about his family's status after a month of dating, when Jiang Jie brought her to meet his parents.
