Chapter 675 - Chapter 675 Too Simple

Perhaps because she had been around Naruto for too long, after all, by standing near ink, one turns black, Ajisai's methods of causing chaos had also become rather unscrupulous.

She actually controlled her Summoned Beasts to charge straight into Iwagakure's red-light district, flushing out a bunch of naked men and women. They didn't even have time to put on clothes, and fled into the streets in complete disarray.

"What the hell is that?!"

"Where did those Summoned Beasts come from?! What's happening to the village?"

"With Tsuchikage-sama here, everything will be fine!"

"The enemy is in District Three! The captains are already heading there! Everyone, evacuate now." Someone raised his arms and shouted, rallying the villagers to safety.

In reality, there wasn't much bloodshed. The summoned rhino acted more like a demolition machine, turning everything in its path into rubble.

Meanwhile, Kurotsuchi heard the commotion and pulled aside the curtain with one hand, hastily stepping out of her bathtub.

Just as she was about to rush outside, a gust of night wind blew in, snapping her back to reality.

She almost went out like this without even getting dressed.

She was always the impulsive type, and after calming down, Kurotsuchi wiped herself twice with a towel, opened the bathroom door, stepped on the floor barefoot, and ran through the living room.

Once she entered her bedroom, she opened her closet and started putting on clothes.

It had been a long time since the village had faced any major disturbances. After all, with her grandfather, Onoki in charge of the Iwagakure, there were very few blind courageous people who would mess with Iwagakure.

Once dressed, Kurotsuchi quickly went downstairs. Her fair, toned legs flashed briefly as she reached the streets. But before she took two steps, someone patted her shoulder from behind.

It was late at night, with panicked crowds flooding the roads, cries and curses filled the air. Amidst the chaos, someone suddenly patted him on the shoulder, which made Kurotsuchi instantly alert.

She didn't turn around immediately. Instead, she pushed forward, then glanced back. All she saw was a middle-aged woman staring at her with an apologetic expression, as if she had accidentally bumped into her.

The woman seemed to be mouthing an apology, but her voice was drowned out by the noise.

"It's okay." Kurotsuchi breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that she had been overreacting.

After all, this was the village where she lived. Not to mention her grandfather, there were also a large number of Shinobi stationed in the village. Even if someone was crazy enough to attack the village, they wouldn't get far.

'Right now, her priority was reaching the Tsuchikage Building to help Grandpa stabilize the situation. No matter what was happening, the village couldn't descend into chaos.'

Thinking of this, Kurotsuchi turned and ran towards the Tsuchikage Building.

But with the streets filled with villagers evacuating, Kurotsuchi decided to take a shortcut through the alleys and rooftops. However, just as she entered a narrow lane, someone suddenly called her name.

"Huh?" She turned her head, only to be knocked out cold by a thick wooden club!

Kurotsuchi's vision went dark and she fell to the ground. Two figures walked out of the shadows at this time.

Naruto held a stick as thick as his thigh in his hand, and Yakumo looked at the scene in front of her and was a little dumbfounded.

"See? I told you it wouldn't be that complicated. Just one hit and she's down." Naruto waved his stick and said with a smile, "Now pay up. You lost the bet."

"Isn't she a Shinobi? How come she isn't on guard at all?" Yakumo was flabbergasted. She took out money from her chest, revealing a glimpse of pale skin.

'Is this some kind of 'the finest ingredients require the simplest cooking' situation? But the other party is not an ordinary person, she's the Tsuchikage's granddaughter.'

'Who would've thought that a random stick picked up off the ground would be enough to take her out? What the hell is wrong with this world?'

Naruto took the money with a smug look on his face, and quickly put the unconscious Kurotsuchi into the sealed space. He glanced at the sky, turned his head and said to Yakumo who was standing beside him.

"Now that we've got what we came for, let's call Ajisai back and get out of here."

"Okay." She nodded.

On the other side, upon receiving the signal, Ajisai immediately retreated without hesitation. She knew Naruto's character too well, and when he said move, she needed to move quickly.

If she slows down even for a moment, she will find herself in trouble.

Seeing the people in the Tsuchikage Building were evacuated, Onoki breathed a sigh of relief and immediately released his strength.

Then, the building split down the middle and collapsed in a thunderous crash.

While panting heavily, Onoki raised his head and turned to look at the crowd coming. He didn't see his granddaughter, so he frowned and demanded, "Where's Kurotsuchi?"

Everyone looked at each other, unable to come up with an answer. Heitu Kurotsuchi known for her love of joining in the fun, and she would never be absent when something like this happened in the past.

"Has anyone seen Kurotsuchi-sama?"

"No, I just came here directly from home."

"No."

"I don't see her."

Listening to the murmurs around, Onoki's wrinkled face darkened slightly. His sharp instincts told him something was wrong. But while he was worried, he didn't say anything.

The attack happened suddenly, and the enemy had used the chaos of destroying the building to buy time, but never showed themselves directly. This also proved that this was not random attack, but a premeditated one.

Without knowing the intruders' identities or motives, acting rashly would only make things worse.

"No need to look for her. I assigned her to another task." Onoki said calmly, "The enemy hasn't shown themselves yet. Our priority is ensuring the villagers' safety."

"Captain of the Third District…"

No matter what, Onoki had seen a lot in his life, so even though he knew that his granddaughter, Kurotsuchi, was likely in trouble, he did not panic. Not only did he calmly assign the task, he even covered minor details.

After everything was over, the moment he turned around, his face instantly turned dark.

'How rude. If they had business with me, they could've just come directly. Why target my family? Kurotsuchi wasn't some weakling. For her to disappear so easily…'

Several possibilities flashed through Onoki's mind, and his face grew even darker.

What he didn't know was that the one who kidnapped his granddaughter wasn't some old rival or a deranged Shinobi organization, but just a blond guy.

It's a pity that the blond guy didn't have a motorcycle, otherwise, he would have parked it downstairs of his house, kicked the stand down and shouted unscrupulously towards the upstairs, "Hey, old geezer, is it safe for me to park my amazing bike here?"

Such shameless, infuriating behavior was beyond most people, but it is not certain if it were Naruto. This guy's moral bottom line is so low that it is hard to describe.
