Running through the deep forest, Jack quickly closed the distance between him and the Frost tribe.
His mind was blank as he ran, and no thoughts were going on in his head. He had cleared it of every single distraction.
This late into the plan, there was no time for unnecessary thoughts, there was only one thing remaining to do.
To achieve his goal and to complete this dungeon that had already lasted longer than every other dungeon run before it.
'If I get to repeat it once again, I'll simply go to each Tribe and annihilate them.' Jack thought as he saw the gates of the Frost Tribal ground appear before him.
'It seems like the other tribes have yet to arrive.' Jack thought as he noticed the lack of people.
'Nevertheless, this could be a good opportunity to get more slaves that I can use during the action.' Jack thought as he walked toward the gates.
The two guardsmen he had seen before were still there, guarding the gate unflinchingly.
"You've returned Jack." One of the guards said with a light smile, clearly showing his relief at Jack's safety.
"Yes, it wasn't too hard of a mission, I'll have to go back and report to the Patriarch however," Jack said as he walked past the guards after nodding his head once.
Inside the Frost Tribal Grounds, Jack couldn't see any of the children running rampant anymore.
'Seems like they've all hidden themselves inside their houses and are protecting the children. It's not going to help much against me, however.' Jack thought as he turned his head away from the direction and toward the largest house around.
The Patriarch and Matriarch's residence.
Walking with confident and slow steps, Jack arrived in front of the door and opened it without even knocking, as if it was his own home instead of someone else.
Inside, Jonathan and Phione sat around their dining table.
As soon as the two heard the sound of the wooden door creaking open, they turned their gaze toward it. Only to meet the blank expression on Jack's own face.
"You've returned," Jonathan said as he got up from the chair and gave a light bow toward Jack.
"I have, when are the other tribes coming around?" Jack questioned as he dragged a wooden chair and sat on it.
"They should be here at any moment, considering everyone's speed, though they could get slightly delayed when getting their belongings together," Jonathan replied as he sat down in front of Jack.
"I see, did they not object to the decision at all?" Jack questioned as he looked at the man.
"No, they made a swift judgment as soon as the letter reached them. The Frost Tribe has always had a good reputation among the tribes and so we have managed to gain their deep trust in our words." Jonathan answered, his eyes once more flaring with a brief rage that was quickly consumed by the sub-servitude he felt toward Jack.
Nodding his head, Jack crossed his arms and waited.
The silence didn't last long however as soon an urgent knock was heard before a man came inside the house.
It was the man who had been tasked with forming a messenger team to send out the letters to the other Cold One Tribes.
"They have arrived Patriarch!" The man said as he gave a deep bow toward Jonathan.
"Good, I'll be out in a brief moment," Jonathan said before dismissing the man.
At that moment, Jack lifted himself up from the chair and stood up.
"Seem's like the time has come," Jack mumbled and turned around, now facing the door, and started heading towards it.
Jonathan and Phione quickly followed him from behind.
"If I may ask sir, what is your purpose in calling every Tribe?" Jonathan questioned, however even asking such a question seemed to have put him in great pain as he tried to overcome the enslavement.
It was a futile endeavor, however. A cold one could never resist a true vampire, let alone a Vampire Baron who had already started his first step on the path toward nobility.
"I plan on killing every single one of them, the Frost Tribe included of course," Jack responded as he reached the door.
His words seemed to have sparked the deep fury in Jonathan's heart as he stopped moving for but a moment.
Turning his head, Jack saw the man's deep frustration and struggle, it looked like he was doing everything in his power to escape the enslavement.
However, all of his struggles didn't result in any sort of positive effect for him.
"Give up, you can't resist me even if you weren't enslaved," Jack said as he opened the door wide, letting the light come inside the house.
Phione who was next to Jonathan merely stood silent, her figure unmoving for a brief moment before following behind Jack.
Jonathan who looked at the scene felt a deep sense of distress, as well as an overwhelming sadness overcome his mind.
'In the end, even she couldn't stay by my side.' Jonathan muttered in his own mind before completely losing control of his body and mind.
The last words that passed through his already broken mind were...
'I'm sorry everyone.' Jonathan thought as his eyes reflected his desperation for a brief moment.
And in the next, they clouded over, Jonathan had lost the battle and his will.
He had truly become a slave to Jack, for now, and for eternity until his dying breath.
Once outside, Jack saw the Tribal members.
Their numbers were large however he didn't even feel the slightest amount of fear.
He didn't just not feel fear, there were no other emotions either.
He was truly emotionless.
