Drip drip drip, the sound of rain was the first thing I heard and felt as I awoke in a strange world. The view that came into my vision as I open my eyes were nothing but astonishing, a purple moon and sky filled with twinkling stars and creatures unknown.
My thoughts were oddly calm as for someone like me as I was sure this wasn't the world that I grew up in since there were no large structures to seen just a lush green forest with trees so tall you would think it might touch the heavens. Looking around the area where I laid a beautiful lake was to be seen with particles so tiny it should be impossible to see with the human eyes.
My heart skipped a beat as the thought hit me am I human. On the ground around me were what looked like broken shells from a giant egg white shell, was I born from an egg?. I looked at my hands which definitely looked human if you forget about the sharp black obsidian looking nails.
I got to my feet to get a better look at the changes to my body. My body was that of a child less than four feet in size. A new sensation was felt on my lower back when before I could look a tail appeared in my vision a thick long dark scaled tail moving ever so slightly in tandem with my thoughts as if it was a new limb, looks sturdy.
A fucking tail this is going to take some getting used to moving the tail from side to side was actually very pleasant, a feeling of excitement hit me I felt free, free from the exhausting life that I lived the freedom to just live, do whatever I wanted without the need to be afraid of anything.
A feeling that was interrupted be a crazed hunger that could consume my sanity that was drawn to the shell that was presumed to be mine. Fuck it I dived for the shell and ate every shard I could find, slowly but surely the hunger subsided as my thoughts cleared up I looked at my muddy hands an annoyed thought hit me did I just eat some mud.
