"Brother Bei, you can't! That's at least five million a year."
Qiu Xingcai and Shen Wenkai stared, mouths agape, thinking Chen Xiaobei had gone insane.
Chen Xiaobei explained, "The money isn't important. I just want to find something in here."
"Xingcai, just give me a straight answer. Can we dig it out or not?"
"Of course we can, but..." Qiu Xingcai frowned. "This fishpond is about ten meters deep. Just draining it would take several days! That's not even counting the time to dam the river and alter the waterway, especially since there are no other low-lying areas around here besides this deep pit."
"Xiaobei..." Qiu Xingcai's expression turned serious. "I don't understand what you're looking for, but I don't think you need to dig out the entire pond. You could send a diver down. If the item isn't buried too deep, they might be able to bring it straight up!"
