As a mermaid, hunting in the sea was quite simple for Lu Shiqi, and she soon caught a plump sea fish.
Lu Shiqi was not very familiar with fish species. She decided to bring the sea fish up to let Qin Yu identify whether the fish was edible or not.
Just as she poked her head above the sea surface, Lu Shiqi's eyes widened in shock. She saw intense Thunder Light erupting from the little island! Qin Yu's body was blown apart, flesh and blood flying everywhere!
Splash, the sea fish in Lu Shiqi's arms fell back into the water, the fish looked utterly confused. Why had the mermaid let it go?
Lu Shiqi let out a mournful wail like the cry of a cuckoo: "Brother Yu!"
With a whoosh, Lu Shiqi leaped out of the water. With a flapping noise, the wings on her back spread out as she flew like lightning towards the small island!
Lu Shiqi was very fast, it only took her a few dozen seconds to fly back to the little island. Then, unable to hold back, she burst into tears again!
