A group of children under ten years old cheered around Xue Yang and Xue Xing, looking as if they were crowning them as their own makeshift emperors. It was just too much fun. They had long wanted to play with the fireworks, but since they didn't belong to them, they hadn't dared to go wild.
"Xing Zai, go get the fireworks and pass them out for everyone to play with. Just grab two of the big ones. We'll save the rest for midnight," Xue Yang said.
Tonight, he was determined to be the brightest star in the entire village!

Like a leader of the pack, Xue Xing took a group of younger kids with him to fetch the fireworks.
Xue Yang had bought many different types of fireworks, purchasing at least one of every kind he could find. Among them, he bought several large packs of the relatively popular Fairy Sticks. The main selling point was the sheer volume, guaranteeing everyone would have their fill.
