"Xue Yang, you're so infuriating," Lin Xi pouted, pouncing on him and giving his collarbone a good bite.
A faint, sharp pain spread from the spot. Yet, Xue Yang wasn't annoyed in the slightest. Instead, with an almost doting gesture, he gently patted Lin Xi's bottom, which her movement made all the more pert. A playful smile touched his lips as he spoke with gentle admonishment, "You don't even have the strength to bite properly, yet you're still talking about losing weight. Lin Xi's reply was muffled and tinged with embarrassment. "Who says I have no strength?" she muttered, as if trying to defend herself. "I was just..." She stopped mid-sentence, suddenly realizing her words were only making things worse, so she fell silent.
"Just what?" Xue Yang chuckled.
"I..." Lin Xi's eyes flickered. She finally conceded defeat, relaxing the lips that had been clamped down on his skin.
