"Sister Si Wen..." Xue Xing lowered his head in annoyance, unsure of what to say. He wasn't very good at interacting with girls; it had always been that way, even back at school. If a girl approached him for a chat, he generally ignored her. Unless they asked him how to solve a problem, in which case he would say a few more words to explain his thought process. If they still couldn't understand after he taught them, he wouldn't continue. Because it's a waste of time. Besides, people without a natural talent for learning won't improve no matter how much you teach them.
Just then, Si Wen seemed to notice his awkwardness and asked, "How much longer until dinner?"
Xue Xing glanced at the time and quickly replied, "About another half an hour."
Si Wen nodded. After a moment of silence, she spoke again. "Want to play a round?"
"Sure," Xue Xing replied instantly.
