Lynn raised an eyebrow:
"Truly?"
"Truly!" Jack gritted his teeth:
"I can sign a three-hundred-year contract with you. For three hundred years, I am willing to recognize you as my master!"
"The premise is that you help me obtain the Heavenly Thunder Silver Bar!"
"Recognize me as your master?" Lynn gently shook his head:
"That's unnecessary, but I need you to serve me for five hundred years. If the breakthrough is unsuccessful, your corpse will also belong to me."
Service and recognition as a master are two completely different concepts.
Recognition as a master means being a slave.
Service,
on the other hand, allows one to refuse Lynn's arrangements within the range agreed upon in the contract, retaining a certain degree of autonomy.
"Agreed!"
Jack the Gear nodded heavily:
"As long as you help me obtain it, I am willing to help you become the new dean of Viper Academy!"
As for the corpse...
