In the Underground City,
The magic beasts, having lost their target, lingered momentarily in place, letting out roars of unwillingness.
Eventually, they continued to charge upward, as if that were their true destination, guided by an unseen force.
Meanwhile, Lis and his companions stealthily advanced from the shadows, heading in the direction where the beasts were flowing in.
"Is it that no one intervened because those Evil God believers did not notice us, or are they too weak to face us directly?"
"Or perhaps they don't believe there really are Evil God believers causing trouble as we anticipated?"
Uleer spoke softly.
This was also the plan of Lis and his companions.
Originally, they could have silently infiltrated the Underground City without making such a grand show.
But after a discussion, they decided to launch an apparent offensive on the Underground City first.
