The three women stepped out of the palace doors and were inexplicably moved when they saw the two stone sculptures at the base of the staircase.
Back then, when they were created, the bloodlines of dragon and phoenix were used. How many tens of thousands of years have passed, and yet they've not fully revived?
These two beasts were extraordinary. When they first arrived at Purple Night Sect, they were gravely injured, and it was these Supreme Elders who rescued them. During the construction of the underground palace, the beasts were placed within the stone statues.
The three women came before the statues, reached out to touch them, feeling somewhat nostalgic, as if they too were the last remaining beasts.
The sect has now collapsed and no longer exists. What meaning is there in returning outside, as if all these years have been in vain.
What to do next? It seems they can only follow Tang Feng now.
