The children scattered in a frenzy, except for the little girl who was the leader; though she had the courage and stubbornness to climb up, she was still a bit shaky and weak from the scare and couldn't walk far.
"There's really nothing I can do with you."
A young boy, looking about her age, scratched his head, seemingly with a tense face, then crouched down, letting the little girl climb on his back, and struggled to stand shakily.
The little girl suspiciously said, "You can't carry me?"
The boy's face turned red, and he said, "Wha-? What!!!"
"Not to mention carrying you!"
"I, I can even run!"
He mustered his tiny bit of pathetic inner strength, gritting his teeth, the blush on his youthful face proving everything, as the little girl turned around and waved goodbye to the woman in green: "We're leaving now!"
The Long Wind Tower Master stood in a daze.
