"When was the last time you slept, Your Majesty?" Arzael asked after the meeting with the Generals of Westeria. I keep holding my head, maybe Arzae saw it. "Regretting your decision now? I told you it was an absurd idea, you didn't—"
"That's the best decision I've ever made in my whole life, Arzael." I replied. "If they manage to surpass our soldiers and take control over our land, at least Valeraine won't be involved. She's safe."
"I don't understand. Given her blessings and mythical beast, we can win over them. Why not let her help?"
"She's my woman, not the country's soldier." I replied. "Enough talking about this and start checking the preparation of their arrival this day. Make sure everyone is ready. Stay vigilant."
