Longyearbyen
Aleysia receives the news almost immediately: Tyrone has been found. Alive. Apollo reaches him in time, pulls him out of the flood, and now he's on his way back to Longyearbyen—on Medusa's private jet, with Bernard's children aboard, the twin gods watching over the flight.
Even if the plane fell from the sky, they would be safe. With Apollo and Artemis on board, disaster itself would hesitate. But Aleysia doesn't allow herself to think beyond that. Thinking invites fear.
After receiving the news, she turns and runs, heart hammering, instinct guiding her toward the one person she knows made this possible. She knows this is Medusa's doing.
She finds her and collides into her without slowing, arms wrapping around Medusa as if letting go might undo reality itself. Her knees nearly give out, strength draining all at once now that she no longer needs it. Relief crashes over her, and she breaks, sobbing into Medusa's shoulder.
